Toven LOVES water. He runs for the bathroom when he hears water running

When you adopt a kitten from Rumi Ragdolls, you are getting your moneys worth--you will leave with so much more than just a kitten. I've had ragdoll cats before, but this was my first experience in getting a kitten. Sadie, the owner of Rumi Ragdolls, is phenomenal. She clearly runs this business as a labor of love. She will investigate your needs and match you up with the best cat possible. I have a 19 year old ragdoll retired breeder--Sapphire. I had to euthenize her feline friend (she had formed a massive arterial blood clot and was in terrible pain), so I had to quickly find Sapphire a new companion as ragdolls are very social animals. I knew sapphire would not do well alone during my long hours at work. Unfortunately, no retired breeders that would be a good match seemed to be available at the time. This is when I decided upon getting a kitten. It ended up being 2 kittens-they were able to play and wear each other out, and I think this worked better for Sapphire. It was challenging to find a kitten with a personality that would mesh well with a 19 year old cat, and a very energetic kitten (from a different cattery). Even with this bizarre circumstance, Sadie somehow worked her magic. Based upon my unique situation, she recommended a seal bicolor kitten who was calm, super affectionate, and seemed to have a knack for "looking after" the runts of the litter. His name is now Toven, and I cannot imagine life without him. Sadie provided me the education I needed to successfully care for a kitten, and how to successfully integrate him into my household. She made recommendations for products, food, care, and bathing. Once I got Toven and he settled in, it was very clear that Rumi Ragdolls spent a lot of time to nurture and train their kittens. Toven is very well behaved, has had no issues with the litter box, and has never damaged any furniture. When sapphire had to undergo anesthesia for a dental procedure, she was confused, terrified, and unable to walk when she got home. Toven laid down in front of her carrier and put his paw to the door to calm her down. He did this for a few hours until the effects of the anesthesia wore off. Sadie was right-he was the perfect match for my household. He did very well when my nephews were visiting, and he even did well with my brother's dog. There was some hissing at first, but Toven responded well to cuddles and reassurance. The next thing I knew, he was nose to nose with the dog, playing with his toys, and playing with the dog's tail. I was also very impressed with how well he handles grooming-he actually seems to enjoy getting a bath. He purrs during the bathing process, and he is calm and cooperative when I trim his claws. I have never seen a cat before who cooperated with getting bathed, claws trimmed, and a hygienic trim of his rear fur. Furthermore, when you purchase a kitten from Rumi Ragdolls, you have lifelong support for any issues and ongoing recommendations or education you may require to keep your kitten happy and healthy. Sadie is also happy to receive the occasional picture and keeps in touch to check on how everyone is doing. I never expected so much support or compassion in this process. He was worth every penny.

During my visit, I fell in love with a fluffy little girl. I had already decided to buy her, but I wanted to follow the basic steps that responsible owners recommend. I asked about her vaccinations and about the health testing of the parents. The staff told me that all of their puppies come from small local families here in Virginia, that the families vaccinate before shipment, and that they only breed from healthy parents. I felt reassured and excited. To be safe, I asked to see her paperwork. I was told earlier that everything was local, so this was supposed to be a simple confirmation. Instead, the papers said she was bred in Missouri. I asked the salesperson how Missouri counted as "local to Virginia" and why he had told me the exact opposite. He said he got confused. That explanation made no sense. I pointed out that he had spoken with confidence about all of their puppies coming from local families, and yet the paperwork showed something completely different. At that point, I could not trust a single thing I had been told. If you are thinking about buying a puppy from here, look at the paperwork yourself before you make any decision. Do not rely on what the staff tells you. My experience showed me that what they say and what is written on the documents are two very different things.

I am 100% sure they kidnapped my cat from my community and hostage her for donation and selling as a business rather than a non profit organization. Pure intention matters! I have donated to multiple organizations monthly base, raising fund for good purpose, money is not a problem for me. However, I don't want to reward bad behaviors. The missing time for my cat and the one they posted online matches and the very detailed stripes pattern matches. It's questionable that one employee said she from North Carolina, another one said she from West Virginia. I have my cat since she was born, I can recognize this cat from eye contact. Well, if you know your children, you know them by the spirit, right? I sent them many details to JUST take a look, they refused. It's not built to help ppl or animals at all. I will show how my cat look like and how sick she is now in their foster home. I'm deeply saddened and worried about her. She is territorial as a cat does. She has been a happy cat in her own home, wtf they think this is a rescue. Now I have to either kiss their ass or be assertive to fight against this negativity just to get her rescued from these horrible ppl. F that! If they don't practice as ethical as it should be, this is a big big issue! I put the photos of how my cat looked before and how she looks now in their foster homes(one with name caption) I am seriously furious and frustrated about this. If they couldn't give me an explanation why they made it so difficult to meet the cat. I have to say I will use my popularity and influence to the extreme to make things right!!!

    Conure Birds Aviary

    Conure Birds Aviary

**1 of 2** RED FLAGS:…read more We found this Indian scammer, "Ray Thompson" and his fraudulent webpage "Conures for Sale" at http://conuresforsale.com with the business name of "Conure Birds Aviary". Since he only has a phone number listed, we called him. This man has a heavy, foreign accent, and only likes to text rather than talk on the phone to mask his heavy, foreign accent. This scammer is not an American. We found that he requires a deposit of 50% of the bird's cost before he will even let you see the birds. He uses Zelle which has no buyer protection. This Indian scammer won't give an address. This was all very suspicious, and it's clear that he is a scammer. There is no address, no birds, and no aviary. This scammer uses a business name of Conure Birds Aviary. We did some research when things sounded suspicious. There are many Red Flags on this website that tell us it is a sham and a scam to cheat parrot buyers out of their money. 1) "Ray's" name is Anglo Saxon but his voice is a very heavy Indian accent sure is not, leading one to believe "Ray's" name is fake. This Indian scammer has a hard time speaking English, and stammers in bad English. Scammer alert. Red Flag. 2) This Indian scammer hangs up if you ask about what avian vet he uses or what his business address is. He prefers to text and not speak English on the phone. There is no vet and he has no address. Red flag. 3) "The scammer's" phone number area code is not in northern California, it's from Riverside County, not Napa. 4) This scammer's "Conures for Sale" website has many grammatical errors, since English is not his first language. This scammer didn't steal and copy and paste his webpage text carefully enough. His web pages of a supposed huge aviary business are not professionally done. The scammer simply stole and copied text and photos from other websites to try to look like a legitimate parrot breeder in Napa. He is not. Red Flag. 5) There is no address listed on the website, and when you call, this Indian scammer won't give you his "aviary's" address. A legitimate business would give out its address both on its website, over the phone, and through email. This scammer cannot give out an address, otherwise, his victims could check out his fraudulent "business" first before sending him money. This guy is nothing but a scammer. Red Flag. 6) This Indian scammer only takes Zelle, (HUGE RED FLAG, PEOPLE!!) which has zero protection or insurance against fraud. This is why "Conures for Sale" uses only Zelle. He won't let you make "an appointment" until you put down 50% of the bird's price as a deposit, and he says he won't give you his address until you send him money. It's what scammers use to get your money and you never see it again. It's just like Western Union. Do not wire money to anyone unless you know them. "Ray," the scammer, wants to keep your money and never gives you an address, so you cannot track him down to attempt to get your money back. Paypal and your bank credit card have protections against fraudulent use, but not Zelle or Western Union. He's a scammer! HUGE Red Flag. 7) There is no business listing on Yelp for this place at all. Red Flag. 8) A lot of parrot photos on these webpages look manipulated. They are strangely stretched horizontally and squished down from the top. The photos on his website are deceitfully stretched to make reverse look-up difficult, because this scammer did not use his own photos for his website, because he doesn't have any birds for sale. But some photos are not stretched, and we found those same exact photos on other websites. This photo: https://papaganlar.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/konur-papagani-fiyat-1536x1024.jpg was taken from the website papaganlar.org in Turkey and it is on the conurebirdsforsale.com "bird shipping page" https://conuresforsale.com/bird-shipping/ at https://conuresforsale.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/2-1536x1133.jpg This photo is from https://floridareptiles.us/parrots-for-sale/ It is on conuresforsale.com "Conures for Sale" page https://conuresforsale.com/product-category/conures-for-sale/ (top left photo) at https://conuresforsale.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/African-Grey-Congo-600x600.jpg This guy steals other website's photo content. Red Flag. 9) All of his photos have various backgrounds, they are not consistent, and some are obviously taken in a pet store with many shelves of toys, even though the scammer says he is "not open to the public." How odd to have a pet store full of bird toys that is "not open to the public." A scammer who steals other website's photos for his fake website. Red Flag. *** continued...
