The truck I wanted to see here was a bit higher trimmed and more expensive than I budgeted for. David and his team were great and took care of me: when I found a few odd items on the vehicle (example: aftermarket windshield that rendered the HUD hard to use), they took the cost of fixing those issues off of the price tag, as any honest dealer should. I had another bad expirence over the summer, had someone bring my car in for regular service for me. I called set up the service and told them I wanted nothing more than what I scheduled. When my car was brought in they tried to upsale the service and when I called to dispute the extra work they did. The service manager was extremely rude and told me to send in someone competent next time. I spoke with the sales manager regarding my experience and he didn't seem surprised by my complaint. He apologized and offered to assist me in setting up services in the future. I will not be going back here.

The next day we drove it 60 miles on the freeway and suddenly warning lights came on for battery, radiator and other key car features. Within moments the car was dying. We managed to get the car in "limp" mode and drove it on the freeway shoulder at 40 miles per hour for 60 miles to get home. Once we got home we called Steve's Auto Sales and told them what had happened. They suggested that we drive the car over to them in Cambridge which is 40+ miles away. We told them the car couldn't be started plus in this time it got a flat tire while sitting in our driveway! They sent a tow truck and took posession of the car, assuring us they would back out the charge immediately. Its been a week and still they haven't reversed the charge, but claiming everyday when we call that they have reversed the charge and its just the credit card company who is screwing up. At least we can dispute the charge but it would be easier if they just reverse it.

While we were gone, Dan said another customer came in specifically looking to buy the Jeep that was parked in the lot. He offered Dan, our salesman at Steve's, way over asking price to get him to sell it out from under me. Dan said the deal is done, it is SOLD!!! I thanked Dan for his integrity. We will go back in the future as well as refer family and friends!! In the deal Dan said he would mail me the new tail light because I noticed the drivers side was cracked. That came a week later!

Bought a 5yr old used truck from Hayford. Reasonably priced. I came in an hour before they closed…read moreand offered to come back the next day. Sales was dead set on a sale that night. The finance department was very unhappy to still be there. I requested to use a loan through my credit union. They never even contacted my credit union. The loan they gave me was based off a credit score that was nearly 120 points below my actual score. My credit union verified my credit score when I refinanced pretty much immediately for almost a 4.5% interest drop. I had to go through the whole refinancing process less than two weeks after I bought the vehicle because Hayford automatically enrolled me in a loan with Wells Fargo with a credit score they got from Equifax. I opened a credit card with my credit union two weeks later and they used Equifax as well and found my score to be way higher. Furthermore a wire for the block heater was clearly identified broken prior to me purchasing the vehicle. Hayford claimed they would fix it. They said they'd call me once the part was in. Two weeks later still no contact by them so I call them and tell them if they are lying about their intentions to fix it to let me know and I'll fix it myself. They then say there must have been a communication error because the part was in stock when my truck was purchased. Their manager Furthermore told me I had no right to question their character because he's a man of his words. I told him to just mail me the part and I'll do it myself. Guaranteed they haven't mailed it and never will. I wish I had a better experience with Hayford and could recommend them to others, but I really can't. Worst expierence I've ever had with a dealership. Their sales team is pleasant and have some good employees, but their finance guy was extremely short and rude, and their manager was more concerned with his pride than he was resolving the issue. They also do not care about how they treat you once you sign the paperwork. I try to keep business local when I can, but I won't be back and won't be recommending them to anyone I know. In a small community reputation and integrity is everything. Not once was it offered to me for them to follow up on how my credit score was found to be 120pts below what it actually is. Nor did anyone apologize for the absolute cluster of a process they have.

I have had the worst luck since buying my current vehicle. Door dings, rear ended twice while the…read morecar was parked with no one in it and I hit a deer on the way home from work sometime last week. Larson's has done the work for me twice now. One was about a year ago after someone ran into it with a forklift at work and I just returned from picking it up after the deer hit. I could go on and on about craftsmanship but I don't have a clue what it takes. All I can tell you (and all I really care about) is that after they are done everything looks as new. Unless you know the car before you wouldn't be able to tell where any work was done. Sheet metal, paint, etc. looks flawless. The service is as good as the work and very friendly as well. Free loaner on both occasions, work was completed in a very reasonable amount of time, they inform you of any possible savings to be had and they pass them on to you. My non damaged headlight was faded and burned out prior to hitting the deer. They polished it to match the new one and did what they could to get it working (ended up being a module). I had painted the grill to match the vehicle, again they replicated that as well after calling to see what I used. The car was cleaned and vacuumed as well even though all work was exterior.... everything at no charge. It's my body shop of choice and will recommend them to anyone needing work done.
