I contacted one insurance they cover $473. Total Dental continues sending me emails offering me payment plans for the out of pocket price of $800. When calling the office, you always get a prompt to leave a voicemail. No one ever responds to that voicemail. Thinking that Dr. Nam might be on vacation. If the type of care you would receive here, or the quality of care is that all correlated to their communication style, I would be very worried about being a patient here.

Short Answer: One dentist with appointments overbooked…read more Western Dental (WD) has a management issue that probably is company wide. The scheduling is done by one central location. Three folks were waiting when I arrived on time for my 10 AM appointment. When scheduling they failed to email me the questionnaire that I had to fill out while waiting. I noted three other's in the waiting room. They called me at 10 AM and after waiting an hour I find that the one dentist on staff was engaged with a patient. I noted at least one other patient in a nearby room. They were happy to reschedule me for a for a 9 AM (opening time) when two dentists would be on staff. When leaving I noted a full waiting room. Suggestion: Request a first AM appointment when there is more than one dentist on staff.
