Absolutely frustrating as could be of a situation and the park rangers and staff never once apologized. Not only did they not apologize but they also didn't compensate us whatsoever when a bunch of our belongings were destroyed due to their sprinkler system. Moral of the story is avoid staying here because the staff isn't considerate even when they ruin your trip. I have seen other reviews of this park that have experienced the same thing, again not sure why they have sprinklers running at 9pm inside your campsite.

The camp hosts are very welcoming with some peaches when you check in. Easy walking access to Maryhill State Park and their beach. Even though the beach access at this park is not too shabby. The little fruit stand is within walking distance with a nice variety of produce, canned and otherwise. I will mention about the trains and autos being a little noisy, but the whole Columbia gorge is like that. Hopefully will be back soon!!

This is a nice little park with the emphasis on little. We don't camp or have an RV and come here…read moremostly for the marina. The grounds seem nice enough although finding an empty space could be an issue since it always seems fairly full when we drop by. Found this place totally by accident after pulling off I-84 to use the rest facilities at the nearby Snell park. Arlington is a nice little town out "in the middle of nowhere". The nearest burb is quite some distance away but Arlington has most anything you might want. Gasoline, a couple of restaurants and so on. Five minutes and you can explore the town in it's entirety. We like the marina and have gotten a few good pictures of the various vessels there. You never know when you'll find a new one moored there so it's always fun to swing by. The rail line passes within a few hundred feet of the RV area and trains are frequent. Long freight trains. Passing through railroad crossings with bells and whistles. There's also a lot of BNSF rail maintenance work going on right next to the RV park. I can't imagine that it's all that peaceful there because of this especially at night. But I suppose you get used to anything eventually.

There is overflow dry camping as well that could handle probably another 15 to 20 rigs. Full hook ups or $30 per night. Dry camping is nine dollars per night. Located a short walk to downtown Arlington there is a very nice little park, swimming area, hardware store, grocery store, ice cream shop, and a small health clinic. You are right on I 84 and there are frequent trains, which is the sound of commerce. The RV park/Marina is right next to a very large active green elevator. As we are writing this, it is filling a large barge with grain for parts East. Located right on the Columbia River it's a good representation of this part of the state of Oregon.

Sites - gravel, mostly level, wider than most parks Bathrooms - very large, very clean and very nice! Laundry - only 3 washers and 3 dryers but due to the occupancy unless the park is full it was enough. Noise - not the best but it's to be expected when staying right off the highway Light Pollution - I felt a little miss lead with their title "stargazers" and assumed it was a really dark site. It's not and there are lots of pole lights so you might want to bring window blockers or blackouts if you need your cabin dark at night. Area - not much to do in town, but lots of great things to do within a 1-3hr drive! There are two really nice grocery stores in town, an awesome hardware store, and the general store if you need to print something off or get misc supplies.
