I called Diana at Fluffy Friends several times (her voicemail is full so you can't leave a message) without getting a response. I decided to try texting, as some peoples phones filter out unknown numbers, she did answer my text. She confirmed yes she had room, and we confirmed a drop off/pick up day and time. Thursday Oct 8th at 4:30 was the drop off, Monday the 12 at noon was the pick up. She agreed. We were leaving at 3am on Friday, so i was on a time crunch to get everything done after work and before we left. I arrived at 4:30 at the kennel, and knocked on the door of the office, no answer. She had notes saying to call her cellphone or that she might be in the kennel behind the office working. So, I called her cellphone, and texted. No answer. I walked up to the kennel and there was another note saying to call and that her house is behind the kennel if she doesn't answer. I again called and texted. No answer. I could hear things in the kennel and barking, so I thought she might just not have her phone on her, so I knocked. No answer. I then walked up the hill to her house and knocked on her door, no answer. I then went back down to the kennel and knocked again, and I could hear movement inside so i tried the door and it was unlocked. I stuck my head in and yelled "hello?" No one was in there but unattended dogs, with the door unlocked. I closed the door and texted her that i had a WalMart pick up at 5:00, i was going to run there and then check back to see if she was back home or at the kennel. She wasn't. So I headed back home with my dog. I arranged plans with my brother to drive to my house 3 times a day to take out the dog and feed him. I texted Diana how disappointed i was that she stood me up, and really messed up my plans and inconvenienced me and now my brother. Later that night, Diana texted me back with the word "no." I asked "what do you mean, no, is that all you have to say for yourself?" She then, sent multiple texts stating i had the wrong kennel, i needed to stop texting her, that i was lying as she has a planner and i wasn't in it, then she said she was going to call all the kennels around and get me banned from them for lying. I sent her the screen shots of our conversations confirming my dog being there and drop off times, she had even received his vaccine records prior. She just called me names, and doubled down on getting me banned. I should've known she possibly had memory/mental issues when she was texting me at 1:43am the week before about Elon Musk giving us all 1 million dollars if we vote to keep Republicans in power. Her leaving the kennel unlocked while not even on the property is a HUGE safety issue, anyone could take your dog, harm your dog, etc. She is, as i said unreliable and rude. I do not recommend this kennel or Diana Woods.

We LOVE Paws Here Awhile! They always take wonderful care of our dog Brownie. He loves it there…read more The rooms are clean and the yard gives the dogs nice room to run around outside in good weather together. And each room even has their own private patios! And Brownie met his best friend Pete there and now they are best buds and we arrange dog park play dates. (See the photo below which was taken at Paws and emailed to us while he was there during a stay). We were first referred to Paws by a friend a few years ago when our dog, Brownie (who is a Standard Poodle), came home from a stay at Camp Bow Wow with his fur matted with poo around his bum!!! Shocking!!! Well, we were never going to take him back there again. Besides being offended at the idea of our beloved dog sitting in his own poo! In a small kennel (the conditions at BowWow) they also could never comb him out and blow him out properly there. So we always had to arrange for him to go to a groomers after each stay at Bow Wow which was an extra inconvenience and expense. On the other hand, the team at Paws are grooming experts and they can handle Standard Poodle hair whether for a basic end of stay bath, comb out and blow dry or a complete grooming. And the groomers are excellent. So in conclusion we just cannot say enough good things about the team at Paws and their wonderful resort.

There are several play areas which allow dogs to be separated as needed. All of the staff are attentive and understanding of the dogs' needs. They are able to be flexible with times and dates. One of my dogs came from a terrible situation, and is very anxious. They pay close attention to him, and have helped him gain more social skills with both humans and dogs. He wags his tail when he arrives now, and I used to have to coax him out of the car. My other dog is extremely high energy. He is always tired when he gets home! He has been boarded at this facility, and the staff were able to provide him with his required medications during his stay. Oral reports of the dogs' days are provided upon pick up. The staff always greet my dogs by name, and they know which leashes/other things belong to each dog at the end of the day. They are always friendly and welcoming. I have recommended this facility to several other people. I have recommended it to puppies, adult dogs, and other dogs with significant needs. Pictures of daycare are shares on their Facebook page. It is fun to see your dog having such a great time in such a great environment. I feel at ease leaving both of my dogs in the care of the Pampered Paw Resort, and will continue to use their facility.

Having a place where my giant breed can go and interact with dogs of all sizes(safely) is so important to me. Plus, plus, the yummy treats and cute bandanas in the lobby are a great way to spoil my dogs without a second trip!
