The interior is super cute and decorated with bright, cheerful wooden chairs and tables. As with most establishments in Germany, it is sleek, clean and modern. The menu is mostly in English but the workers spoke limited English, something that I found very weird. I was trying to speak German while ordering what was listed on the menu as a "Route 66 Burger with American cheese." If you're the type of traveler who expects to be catered to by assuming everyone in Europe speaks English, don't go here. You'll need some limited German (or really, really good pointing skills) to order. The employees were VERY friendly and welcoming, full of smiles in spite of a minor language barrier. In fact, they were some of the nicest people we encountered in Germany. After placing your order, you'll get a pager that beeps when it's ready. I loved that my food was cooked to order. Fresh is the best! While these burgers are nowhere near as good as ones you can get in the U.S.A., they are still high quality and tasty, even by American standards. The quality of ingredients, especially the produce, was some of the best ever. You'd never find beautiful ruby red tomatoes, crispy and cold lettuce or sweet onions like these at Fuddruckers! I expected chewy, undercooked bacon but it was the best part of my burger. Major positives: free wifi, made to order burgers, fresh produce, lots of condiments right on the table, fresh herb pots on the table so you can pick your own to eat, and -- wait for it -- FREE REFILLS ON SODAS AND AN ICE MACHINE!
