A customer was very upset about having to wait approximately 30 minutes for her medication to be filled, despite the hospital being extremely busy with only one doctor working. At one point, the customer told the employee, "If you don't help me with this, I'm going to unload on you." I'm sure she didn't necessarily mean that phrase in the way it sounded to me, but as someone sitting nearby, it definitely caught my attention. I found myself watching the situation closely and thinking, "Okay... if this escalates, am I going to need to do something?" Through all of it, Phyllis handled herself incredibly well. She stayed calm, professional, and respectful, and when the customer continued to be upset, Phyllis essentially made the point that she could express her frustration, but it wasn't going to make the medication fill any faster. I actually called back afterward specifically to make sure someone knew how impressed I was with Phyllis. She deserves recognition for the way she handled a very uncomfortable situation. Customer service isn't easy, especially when you're overwhelmed and someone is directing their frustration at you. Phyllis, if you happen to see this: you did an amazing job today.

I paid $180 plus for grooming 3 times and didn't get the cut I wanted. Because, I was displeased the Practice Manager retaliated without even talking to me. She needs Management training asap and conflict resolution training and basic customer service training.

Then a few hours later, I get a call that she had a accident and hurt her right hip. My daughter and I understood that she fell off the grooming table. Later I was told that she had jumped up and down a lot and that is how it happened. Regardless of how it happened, she dislocated her right hip. It will take a surgery to repair it and several weeks for recovery. The surgery and recovery will be $3-5K. And the surgery is not a guarantee that her condition will be taken care of. She is almost 17, blind and deaf and knowing all this, I might make the difficult decision to put her down. The groomer is not taking financial responsibility for what happened at all. Regardless of how Fluffy was injured, Victoria's Groom Shop should be responsible for what happens under their watch. If you are needing a groomer stay away from Victoria's Groom Shop. This could happen to your pet too, very careless for sure.

He has been there for our girls through so many different moments, and we have always felt that each one of them was genuinely cared for and loved when they were in his hands. He is kind, caring, compassionate, and incredibly thorough. Everything he is doing, or is thinking about doing, is explained to us in full detail. He makes sure we understand what is happening, why he is recommending something, and what is in the best interest of the particular girl he is caring for. We never feel like he is simply going through the motions. We know that every decision is made with her health, comfort, and well-being in mind. What means so much to us is that Dr. Buco never makes us feel rushed. He always takes the time to listen to every question and concern we have and patiently answers every single one. No question is ever too small, and he always makes time for our "daughters." And then there's his smile. No matter what is going on, Dr. Buco is always so warm, reassuring, and welcoming. That kindness means more than he probably realizes, especially during those visits when we may be worried or scared for one of our girls. We will always be grateful for the care he gave Charlotte and Bella, and we are so thankful that Fiona and Hazel get to have him as their veterinarian too. Every dog receives love from volunteers, socialization with other pugs, medical care & check up's. Arriving for their 2019 calendar photoshoot ending up featured January's hunk of the month. In my observations I noticed luxurious indoor & outdoor spaces where each fur baby enjoys varieties of toys, lots of comfortable beds & 24/7 access to many placed food & water dishes throughout the area. Non residing pugs within Midsouth Pugs receive foster care in loving environments with great hoomans and/or papa hoomans while relaxing & enjoying their time awaiting a forever home. Being involved with 2 fundraising events they had. Soliciting votes from friends, family & other pet lovers for my photo receiving a feature in 2019's calendar was a privilege & do hope again in receiving an opportunity for future calendars while enjoying raising money supporting a worthy cause. My favorite fundraiser they hosted appealed towards my poker passion which became successful that day raising a wonderful sum while supporting continuation of Pug care. Midsouth Pug's gets my recommendation for adopting a forever friend volunteering with donating supplies, raising money or fostering these wonderful fur babies. Adoptings better than shopping & pays for itself 10 times over in offering love towards special souls & reducing high cost from breeders. Everyone's a winner.
