When it was actually time to install the turf, a crew of about 10 came out and they finished the whole project in about 8-9 hours. They were like a well oiled machine and everyone did their part to complete the install in a timely manner. My parents liked the final result so much that they're going to get the backyard done with a putting green. I'll post an update when that one is done.

I sent him pictures of the job and he gave a fair price. We scheduled the trimming for 7:30 am, and they came early. Javier, the master tree trimmer/pruner introduced himself. I asked he if the could trim my front slope as well for an extra charge and he said no problem. They are a great team and Javier crushed it with a professional trim job. They cleaned up nicely too. While my sister and I were initially excited about transforming our backyard into a green oasis, our experience with Ruff n Tuff has been disappointing. The company assured us that the turf they laid down would not retain any dog pee odor, which was a major concern for us as we own a Labrador. Unfortunately, after just 10 months, the smell has become unbearable, making it impossible for us to enjoy our patio furniture. We had high hopes for Ruff n Tuff's "guarantee" that the turf would remain odor-free, but it's clear that they haven't delivered on their promise. We have tried using various enzyme sprays to address the issue, but the stench persists, leaving us feeling frustrated and out of pocket, as we spent $15,000 on this project. When my sister reached out to the company's owner to address the problem, he refused to come out and inspect the turf, which left us feeling even more disappointed with their customer service. In conclusion, if you have pets, I would strongly advise against using Ruff n Tuff for your turf installation. Their inability to deliver on their promises and their lack of accountability have resulted in a backyard disaster for us. I recently had artificial turf installed by this company. I have high standards not only in how the product is sold / presented to me but in quality. Part of my own occupation is selling consulting professional services. I measure that against people who are selling me a service. I complement Josh in his presentation of what Ruff N Tuff could offer. He was just the right balance of being confident of their product but took the time to show me the details, photos and indicated what goes into the installation as well as the durability of the product. Mario was the lead crew installation person. I am not one who stands over people but occasionally I walked out to see how its going. Mario addressed all my concerns and answered my questions resulting in my greater comfort that the job was going in the direction I wanted it to go. They cleaned up everything well leaving no debris or mess. I am very please with Ruff N Tuff. The yard looks better than ever and now I can look forward to being outside with my dogs. read more

Called for an estimate and Bob came over and designed what we were looking for incorporating what we wanted to keep from our previous front yard. Because of a cancellation he was able to fit us in right away. The crew he sent over was amazing. They worked hard and fast and professionally for two days and presto, we had a beautiful new front yard. Mom is basically blind, and they treated her with such respect when they asked her where and how she wanted her bench placed. The crew even replaced her hose nozzle next to the house to keep her from getting sprayed with water anymore. Thanks guys. In less than a week we were done. I recently received turf in my backyard. it was a two day process it was very fast. they went over everything with you and showed you the lines were it was going to be. They even watered and sweeped up everything like they weren't even there. They were way cheaper than anyone else, and the quality of grass is amazing. read more

Our original plan included the front yard, backyard, and curbside. After discussing our budget, we decided to complete only the front and backyard for now and save the curbside for later. What really impressed us was that Phillip told us he would honor the same quoted price whenever we're ready to finish the curbside. I've honestly never had a business make that kind of commitment, and it speaks volumes about his integrity and customer-first approach. The installation crew of three was outstanding. They were professional, hardworking, and incredibly friendly throughout the project. We have a young son who was fascinated watching them work every day. The crew was so kind and patient with him that he ended up becoming their biggest fan--he kept bringing them water, snacks, and even ice cream each day because he enjoyed having them around so much! The finished turf looks amazing, and we're very happy with the quality of the work. Phillip even nudged us towards a different turf product and we are so happy we went with his suggestion because it's so soft and our kids love it! Over the period of a month we made several revisions to our project. On each occasion Billie made the revisions and gave new pricing for the project. After meeting with three competitors and making an abundance of changes, we finally signed with Billie and Rock N Block because they were the most responsive and had the best understanding of our vision. At the end of May, Pablo, our project manager, and his crew began our project. Billie checked in on our progress twice during the installation, which impressed me because sales reps are usually never seen after the contract is signed. As the project progressed, Pablo and his crew were very responsive in listening to our changes to ensure our vision came to life. His crew members Moises and Juan did a fantastic job installing the turf with a natural edge where the turf and stone meet! Rock N Block, Billie, Pablo and his crew met and exceeded our expectations!
