Almost all…read moreof the teachers from '09 are still with the academy and this says a lot about the environment. It is more than a preschool, daycare, afterschool, etc...it is a safe, clean, educational, active, family-oriented, Christian environment. I will truly be sad when she ages-out of the program in middle school. If I were to have any more children, this is the only place he or she would attend. I am so happy she has been an 'HCA Kid'!

They focus not only on early learning but also on character development, routines, and social skills that help children thrive. Communication with families is consistent, and parents are always kept informed about their child's day. The clean, structured environment and caring teachers make Holy Cross Academy a place where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to learn.

I'm sincerely grateful for the strong academic and personal skills, confidence, poise, and independence my children developed in their years there. FOA has struck a perfect balance between being academically challenging but completely supportive. Truly one-of-a-kind. My only complaint is that they only go through eighth grade, but I know my kids were well-prepared to continue to thrive in high school.

Two of my children went all the way through and finished the Middle School Program and they left Five Oaks more than prepared for high school! FOA students are smart, well rounded, compassionate, confident and independent. FOA is truly a gem in the Upstate. The staff are some of the most wonderful people you will ever meet, and they work hard to make Five Oaks amazing. Sure, there were a few hiccups along the way, because schools and people aren't perfect. But, overall, I don't think we I could have found a better school for our kids.

A genuinely helpful tutoring program, one that my student used and was super helpful to me at home, was cut with little explanation and zero transparency. This wasn't some underused resource, it was a lifeline for students who needed extra support. Instead of investing in education and people, the school chose to save money and move on. What's most frustrating is how dismissive the administration has been about it. No acknowledgment of the impact, no effort to replace it with something comparable, just silence. My child is so confused where Miss Donna went and I don't have an answer. I'm really disappointed.
