Principal Kandil is missed by most and the way this admin handles issues is questionable. That includes firing Mrs. Moody, making sure donors kids don't get into trouble and threatening to call the cops if you try to pick your kid up. Good luck getting Tom Cronin involved in anything as this admin will stonewall any complaints made. I even started to make small donations at first but quickly realized this organization isn't even close to worth it. SC Connections academy is better organized and has better resources.

I don't care what political spectrum you are, or your beliefs, we should all agree that an adult in power should protect the students from not just outside threats but to real, life ruining, trauma inducing, bullying that happens inside the school and Susan Brown failed. She failed as an admin, she failed as an adult in school, she failed as a protector, and she failed at being a kind person. Looking on greatschools you will find multiple other reports that bullying is a major problem at this school and the teachers turn a blind eye to bullying both physical bullying and verbal bullying because it's up to the admins to administer punishment, and you know what person shouldn't be at the head of this? I'll tell you, an admin who doesn't care about the bullying. I would also like to bring to light that i believe she didn't care about my boyfriend being called the f slur because of her political belief.

Five Oaks Academy is a truly amazing school and community. You don't often find places this…read morecommitted to the growth and development of children in such a truly supportive environment. I'm sincerely grateful for the strong academic and personal skills, confidence, poise, and independence my children developed in their years there. FOA has struck a perfect balance between being academically challenging but completely supportive. Truly one-of-a-kind. My only complaint is that they only go through eighth grade, but I know my kids were well-prepared to continue to thrive in high school.

Caution! Pay attention to your credit card!! I was overcharged twice and Classy kids refused to…read morerefund. Classy kids overcharged me one week tuition($309.50) for the first time because they forgot my kids only stayed 3 weeks for the last month before they went to public school. I asked for refund when the director asked for $200 registration fee even for one day drop in. then she waived the registration but still overcharged my credit card after several drop in. I am so glad that I always kept the email records so she had to admit that $200 registration fee was waived and then she added two more extra days..... What a mess! It took me 30+ emails to explain what is wrong and finally I got $239.50 credit. I did not spend this credit because of Covid-19 and my family need to relocate to another state so I ask for refund recently. NO! NO REFUND! "No Credit will be refund, that's the policy!" Come on, I have this credit because of classy kids' overcharge and now they refuse to refund. Hope OVERCHARGE is not one of Classy kids' policies! BTW, pay attention to the staff when you drop in. I always saw staffs/teachers eating their breakfast in the morning and play phones in the afternoon. No wonder some kids got bites/scratches as other reviewers said. Good luck!
