This especially matters for those parents who don't have the option to stay home. Goddard cares more about their families and teachers than dollars. Every teacher knows your child's name regardless if they're the assigned teacher. Students leave learning something wondrous every day, and they also leave feeling loved and have a since of belonging. At Goddard, you're a part of a family. Thanks for this jump start to a lifetime of learning. This school has an effective approach to homework. Homework is beyond sending worksheets home, but instead, teachers implement a hands-on, interactive approach to learning. The curriculum and teachers encourage practical applications of learning while having fun. It's nice to have conversations with my child about ignite critical thinking without being a drill sergeant. Teachers at this school are effective. Teachers are all educated and have a previous, developed early childhood experience. They are not glorified babysitters. More recently, in light of COVID, the owners and staff at TGS executed an effectively solid plan to continue fun while learning and while keeping the children safe. I don't care what political spectrum you are, or your beliefs, we should all agree that an adult in power should protect the students from not just outside threats but to real, life ruining, trauma inducing, bullying that happens inside the school and Susan Brown failed. She failed as an admin, she failed as an adult in school, she failed as a protector, and she failed at being a kind person. Looking on greatschools you will find multiple other reports that bullying is a major problem at this school and the teachers turn a blind eye to bullying both physical bullying and verbal bullying because it's up to the admins to administer punishment, and you know what person shouldn't be at the head of this? I had the most traumatizing first daycare experience here at The Nest School in Loganville, GA. My…read moredaughter has very sensitive skin and they used some off brand wipes on her when I specifically provided my own. This gave her a VERY severe diaper rash that was literally bleeding. My poor girl was in so much pain. They then lied and told their Director that they told me my daughter ran out of wipes. They never told me anything. Also there was no way she could've ran out of wipes being there for one and a half weeks with a brand new pack. They most likely use my products on the other kids there. On top of that they still charged me for a whole month because they require 30 days notice if you want to leave.
