After months of suffering and trying pain medicines, muscle relaxants, and patches, my doctor recommended I seek chiropractic support. I could not be more glad I found Dr. Shelley and her practice. When I first started going to her, my back was a complete wreck and I was near tears in pain. She took a scan of my back and showed me what a normal back looked like and I was way off the charts. After a few months of consistent support and working on stretches and exercises at home, I feel like a new woman!! We did an updated scan of my back after four months of treatment and it is truly transformed. I can sit all day at work (not great but if I have to) with ZERO pain. I have loved working with her. She is always prompt and courteous and Elena at the front desk has helped me with issues like appealing to FSA. No going back now-- I'm hooked!! Thank you Dr. Shelley!

I had gone to an old fashioned "rack 'en and crack 'em) chiro and he really messed me up. I discovered Shelly when I was going to Power Pilates (which, I also adore - I will have to yelp them!). If you, like me, think that chiropractics don't work - think again - and RUN to see Dr. Perline.

Review for Dr. Corrie Horshinski - 444 East 86th Street, NYC…read more I've been a patient of Dr. Corrie Horshinski for many years, and I can honestly say she is one of the best chiropractors in the country. As someone who has exercised consistently over the years, I occasionally find myself out of alignment, in pain, or just not feeling my best. Every time I visit Dr. Horshinski, she not only brings my body back into balance she revitalizes my entire system. Her adjustments always leave me feeling stronger, more centered, and naturally energized. It's as if she resets both my body and mind to their optimal state. Chiropractors specialize in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal issues, especially those related to the spine, joints, muscles, and nervous system. Their goal is to reduce pain, improve function, and support the body's natural healing abilities without relying on surgery or medication and Dr. Horshinski embodies that mission and goes far beyond it. What truly sets her apart is her compassionate bedside manner and spiritually centered approach. She brings a sense of calm, presence, and genuine care that the entire medical profession could learn from. Visit her once and you'll feel the difference. Then an acute issue cropped up and I saught the consult of a neurologist who after review of scans, examination and history recommended PT and acupuncture. Following his advice, the first 4-5 sessions seemed to mitigate the pain some but then it became intense and limited my ability to even walk 20 ft. It was then I made some investigation into the Wellness Center in Manhattan on 234 E. 60th. It is run by Dr. Craig Fishel, D.C. They combine Chiropractic manipulation neck to complete spine as indicated by ones specific malady and PT and attempt to teach their patients principles of mind-body connection and offer an ongoing dialog of wellness. Reading materials are provided should you care to delve deeper-recommended. In under 10 sessions-most billed to my dual Medicare and supplemental, some paid by myself, I have been returned to better than I remember over the last 20 yrs. Dr Fishel and his Office manager along with a clearly skilled and concerned PT, have managed a minor miracle and I do not express this lightly. I am a life-long RN with deep understanding of anatomy. I was shown my in office x-rays which were marked up to demonstrate clearly my misalignment and what needs to be done to correct this. Follow-up x-rays will be done for comparison in short order. To date, because results were obtained and lasted through a 2 week hiatus-trip out of the country-I highly recommend this institution of wellness and honest care for wellbeing. The trio know what they are doing. Dr. Fishel has some 27 yrs of practical clinical experience. I cannot approve of him more ardently. By 30 years old I felt like I had tried just about everything- acupuncture, Chinese herbalists, naturopaths, neurologists, MRI's, CAT scans, yoga, meditation, and after all this I was beginning to lose hope for myself. My body was truly malfunctioning and I couldn't carry anything without triggering muscle spasms followed by a migraine. For the most part I adjusted my life around my limitations, but when I had a baby it became too heartbreaking for me not to be able to carry her without experiencing pain. Three months postpartum I found Debbie through a series of serendipitous phone calls. In the days before my appointment I was both hopeful and depressed. I so much wanted to find the solution to my pain, but if Debbie couldn't help me I felt resigned to accept myself as someone who was going to live with chronic pain and extreme limitations. As I walked to my first appointment I was experiencing head and neck pain just from carrying my nearly empty purse, and that was typical. As it turned out an old break of my tailbone was largely to blame. Debbie specializes in tailbone injuries and she was able to adjust it as well as perform CranioSacral therapy. I've only seen her three times to date, but I have been able to carry my daughter more than ever before and I have only Debbie to thank for it. I haven't had a headache or migraine since my first appointment and I am more hopeful about the state of my health than I have been in 10 years. Beyond all of that Debbie is a truly likable person, and I so enjoy seeing her for each of my visits. I immediately had the reassuring sense that she wanted nothing more than to see me get better, and she would be straight up with me if she were not able to help me get there. I think she is just as excited as I am every time I come in with good news about my migraine free days and my increased ability to function normally.
