I cannot recommend this law firm…read more Before I signed the retainer agreement and paid an $8,000 retainer, communication was excellent. Once they had my money, everything changed. I rarely heard from my attorney and was instead passed off almost exclusively to paralegals, who were consistently condescending, dismissive, and often unable or unwilling to answer basic questions about my case. My divorce was straightforward: we were married for less than two years, had no children, no real estate, and no significant assets. Yet after months, virtually nothing had been accomplished beyond serving my spouse. The final straw came when my ex-spouse was sent a draft of the divorce agreement before I had even seen it or authorized it to be sent. Learning that a settlement draft had been sent to the opposing party without my knowledge or permission completely destroyed my confidence in the firm's handling of my case. After I terminated my representation, the delays continued. My new attorney had to request my file multiple times before it was finally released, unnecessarily delaying my case even further. I have now spent over a week repeatedly calling for the return of my remaining retainer and an itemized billing statement, only to be met with excuses, promises of "tomorrow," and unanswered calls. Rather than taking responsibility for the firm's repeated delays and poor communication, I was made to feel as though my frustration was somehow the problem. It wasn't. My frustration was the direct result of how this firm handled my case from beginning to end. If I wanted a man to gaslight me- I would've stayed married. I felt taken advantage of as a first-time divorce client who relied on my attorney for guidance. Instead, I received poor communication, unnecessary delays, and a level of professionalism that fell far below what I expected after paying an $8,000 retainer. I regret hiring this firm and would strongly encourage anyone considering them to look elsewhere. It certainly is not worth the frustration.

I was granted a permanent restraining order, and I truly could not have done it without this team. When I first reached out, I was dealing with intense anxiety, panic attacks, and fear. From the beginning, they treated me with compassion, patience, and respect. My attorney, Thomas, was there every step of the way. He made me feel heard and safe, clearly explained the process, and even answered my calls or messages on weekends when my anxiety was overwhelming. That level of dedication meant everything to me. Carolina and Daniela were also essential, always kind, professional, and reassuring with every email and phone call. They made me feel supported, not just like another case. I'm deeply grateful for their empathy, passion, and commitment.

I want to share my experience with Lucid Law. I lost my job along with a six-figure salary. No one…read morewould hire me since I was " too old "and my 37-year experience in IT didn't matter. I had no choice but to file for bankruptcy. I did a search for bankruptcy attorney and Lucid Law was the first in the search. So, I called and made an appointment. I met with Karina Lucid (the owner) and I discussed in length my situation. First, she assured me that I was not a "loser" and that she could help me. I was in her office for over an hour. She explained the process in great detail. I didn't bother to talk to another bankruptcy attorney because I knew I found the best attorney to handle my case. I received the paperwork very quickly from her paralegal Pina Zabala. Pina kept me informed about the filing process, every form that I filled out she examined like a detective at crime scene. She caught every error, every line item that I missed, you name it-- whatever was missing or needed correcting she took care of it. My nickname for her is " Eagle Eye Pina!" In December of 2024 I had a meeting with one of her attorneys Debra Kudriavetz and it would last about 30. It was 1 hour 30 minutes. Debra with through every single page to make she I understood how bankruptcy works and how / why the judge decides what Chapter I would get. She has a "human" side and made me feel like I was her only client. And the person who hired Pina and Debra and made sure she only brings the best attorneys to represent her office is Karina Lucid. Rest assured if you are looking for the best attorneys to represent you with your bankruptcy, please call Lucid Law. Filing for bankruptcy isn't easy but if you have no choice, please call Lucid Law. They will take of you and be with you every step of the way. Honorable mentions go to Madison and Brian for taking my calls no matter how many times I called. They are professional and courteous after all, Karina Lucid only hires the best. Sincerely, Felix O. Ramirez

Unfortunately due to not being able to provide all of the documentation, we could never file. Wish we knew that before I gave them $7,500. Well they suddenly booked 3.7 hours 2 YEARS later. For what? For sending me a bill. Liars and cheaters. Amy Crank bills like she's an attorney and she's a glorified secretary. Sad story over there. I actually wrote a very generous review for you, which increased your rating from 3.0 to 3.2. You are well advised to spend your time in improving your knowledge of NJ laws rather than arguing with clients about their reviews on Yelp. Rachel (reviewer) was also not happy about your knowledge of real estate laws. Did you have a role in rejecting the reviews on avvo.com? How do you know that a review was attempted on another site? Seems like avvo.com is not a real review site if it lets attorneys decide which reviews should be published.

I do not recommend this firm at all and I would suggest looking else where. Oh, I forgot to mention when I called to try and straighten out the problem they had with the title company and closing the told the title company that they will keep hanging up on me if I call again and that I give them a headache and they are going home. Really!!! and then to charge me double at the end. I knew there had to be something sneaky going on. They wouldn't put their fee on the closing sheet just put poc where the amount should have been and never responded to my email on how much and how would they like to get paid. Snakes!!!! When I went to the office the next day to give them a check and ask for the amount. Brian the one me and the title company were on the phone with the night before said he never spoke with us. Really!! ok! So then I said I will wait till I get my total to give them the check. Double!! That's why they were being sneaky!!! My realtor & the title company both said I should have never paid them, that they did nothing!!! I did pay them I know I shouldn't have especially not that much considering my title company and I did all the work. Their argument was that They worked long and hard on this for 2 weeks. I even took care of the solar lease and transfers all myself!!! lol They wasted their own time when I told them most of the information already. They never told me when the amount was over what we agreed too and I signed off on. yet they wanted to be paid double!!! Never use this law firm. If you do you will be ripped off!!
