I came here to have a birthmark removed from my finger. The procedure itself was quick and fairly pain free. After my initial consult with the surgeon I felt as ease and ready to go. He had answered all my burning questions and I was confident he would do a great job. The nurses were always friendly and made sure everything was explained perfectly. I also thought it was great that it was easy to change appointment times if something had come up. I just rang up and spoke to one of the smiley receptionists and they sorted through the calendar to find something that would suit me. Overall my experience here was a very good one. I'm extremely pleased with the final result and the whole process was easy and comfortable.

I think that this is not fair to the clients. I should be able to trust the professionals and receive what I have paid or pay less if I do not receive the full treatment. I do not want my money to be used for personal treatment, this is very unprofessional.

After stepping inside and ringing the bell twice over 15 minutes, I was happy to see reputable brands for sale but was still left unacknowledged. Someone took my appointment time. Unfortunately they were unaccommodating in finding a resolution of the situation besides another appointment time which didn't work for me - I already took time off work for that time frame. They appreciate not everyone loves really thin arched eyebrows, and happily shape them how you want them. Compared to other beauticians, Ellipse have always been very reasonably priced. While some places may charge $60 or more for a bikini wax, Ellipse are far more affordable and usually ask for around $25-$30. Having recently undergone a bit of a face lift, the Ellipse building now looks far more appealing and according to my friend who went there just last week, the service is still brilliant. Hands down this was the worst massage and spa treatment either of us has ever had. The spa is cluttered and doesn't feel clean. The treatment rooms were cold and damp, the ladies had to turn on a heater and place extra towels over us to keep us warm. Our 1 hour massage was the worst we have ever had. On several occasions the masseuse put far too much pressure over bones or joints causing pain. None of our muscular tension was relieved and we felt more tense after. We wanting to leave even prior to our 1 hour facial. The facial that followed was as bad if not worse. The products were cheap, heavily scented and left the skin feeling irritated and heavy. Very disappointing considering this cost us over $400 and we left feeling more stiff and sore and less relaxed.

In the meantime I messaged the person that I was messaging back-and-forth last night and they offered me to sit in the sauna prior to the service as they would be able to honor my appointment just at a little later time. I must say the young woman who I did not get her name, but she was from France, did a spectacular job! I had a two hour massage and I wish I could've laid there for another two hours. I had requested a foot reflexology and wish that could've been a little longer however I will definitely go back when back in Auckland.
