Recently went to Ruby Tuesday's with my family. It's been quite a while since we last been there. When ordering my food one of my party members ask the waiter Jason a question and he did not hear what Jason said and Jason said that didn't you hear me I repeated myself twice personally I think that was very unprofessional and rude from the staff to talk that way. On to the food I ordered a cheeseburger $11.99 with a side order of grilled zucchini which originally it was french fries but I substituted there might have been five or six thin slices of the zucchini. The burger wasn't too much taste and they seem to put the condiments in plastic packages on the side of your plate you would think more of this as if you were somewhere at a ball game or fast food establishment but not in a restaurant I also ordered the salad bar which is an additional charge of $4.99 to your order if you order it without your meal I believe it's $12.49 alone. I have to say the salad bar was wonderful they were constantly refilling it and there was lots of different varieties to choose from I enjoyed it very much. The restaurant seem to be clean and decorated nicely for Ruby Tuesday's they're pretty much the same all over the place the way they're decorated. Besides the comment the waiter Jason mentioned in the beginning everything else seemed to be fine the rest of the meal and the service was not bad as well. read more

I first ordered the deconstructed kabobs, 1 steak & 1 chicken, a month or so ago. They were both delicious, fluffy rice, tender meat, and enough for 2 meals each. Today I had the exact thing delivered and both were terrible! The tiny bit of rice was soaking wet, the meat was tough to the point I could not cut it. There was some seasoning that tasted like chili powder covering everything on the plate. I tried to scrape it off so I could try eat it. I've had a love/hate relationship with this Ruby Tuesday since it opened. It seems the food is very good or very bad and you don't know which until it's too late. read more

We haven't been in many years, but decided to roll the dice after seeing they were running some weekend specials. Well when you gamble sometimes you lose. The service was ok, our server wasn't bad, but doing everything including making bar drinks, so could be slow at times. We could hear the kitchen staff yelling from where we were. The service was slow. We ended up sitting ourselves. The sweet tea is not sweet at all. Our server Rhona wasn't really too nice. She barely came back and had to get other servers to go find her. The food was okay. The salmon was not too good. The mozzarella sticks were good. The roasted corn was good. Sweet potato fries were good.The Philly cheesesteak hoagie was okay. The hickory bourbon chicken was good. But the steak my husband got was full of gristle. I wish we could go back in time and be able to have the salad bar as the side for the meal. Honestly for what we got the price was steep. The service was fair, but not good enough to deserve the $15 tip we were charged. Our group of nine people visited Ruby Tuesday's last night , which was Saturday night .We waited to be seated for twenty minutes before anyone even welcomed us . After another prolonged wait we were finally seated .While waiting we were astonished at our surroundings .There were six or seven tables that needed to be cleared and the floors underneath the tables needed to be swept .It took about twenty five minutes more before the server came to take our orders .After about thirty more minutes we finally got our food and may I say it wasn't worth the wait .Altogether we were there on Sunset Ave .for approximately two hours and twenty minutes . Do not waste your time at Ruby Tuesday's on Sunset in Lexington . I know I won't . Get back to the basics by going to Hardee's !!!!! read more

Don't waste your time parking your vehicle. When you walk inside, there will no one to great you and even when they see you they will ignore you. I stood there for 5-10 minutes until I came to the conclusion they were hoping I hope leave. The people after me left as well. No one says hello. They just pretend like you don't exist. Waited 20 minutes at the front and nobody acknowledged our group of 10 so we left. It was almost like there was no staff in the building.

Just left IHOP after waiting over thirty minutes to get teas with no straws and they never came back to take our order! ..... so we went here to RUBY TUESDAY! What a 180 turn around . Greeted while walking in the door . We Got seated with in a minute. About 30 seconds a smiling server took our drink order and was back under a minute. Took our appetizer order . With in 3 minutes the app was delivered while she was taking our entree order. . Amazing food hot and great service!. Server check in while eating the appetizer. Pretty awesome! Extremely low effort, insultingly low standards, and awful quality - a total disaster! Chicken was a rubbery mess, potatoes were rotten (see attached photo), and the "presentation" was insulting. The salmon "salad" was particularly absurd and overpriced. The salad part was a handful of iceberg lettuce and no dressing. Upon complaint, no serious effort was made to improve the situation and no apologies were offered. AVOID this "restaurant"! Hopefully a massive and detailed inspection of this establishment is coming soon. read more

The manager was awful... tall blonde lady, she never came over to apologize or explain. Service was excellent and attentive. Stopped in on a Monday afternoon, seated promptly. There was a steady flow coming and going, mostly older people. I'm assuming they get a discount for dining here. The salad bar was not fresh, and didn't seem clean. It was well stocked with all the normal veggies. The dinner portions were small and not really filling. I did enjoy the hot fudge/ ice cream sundae. This isn't a place that I would visit again, but we did receive our food in a in a timely manner. Disgusting food! Left feeling so sick to our stomachs. Everything was undercooked. Waiter didn't seem to care we were not satisfied.

We ordered pick up online and I want my $ back. The chicken breast was 1/2 the e size of a slice of cheese. It was so small that my husband thought it was missing. The brocolli was expired and unseasonably. It tasted like dirt. They were "out of" Philly cheesesteak so I asked for a chicken Philly instead. We frequent the RT in Lexington, SC often but tonight's service was despicable. The waitress was absolutely horrible. She managed to messed up every aspect of the order and it wasn't like they were busy. We were there for over an hour with only one drink. Food arrived before the appetizer and she stated you can just take it home. Partial orders of the food came out long periods of time apart. We had to reiterate about not having drinks. Co-workers of the waitress appeared to cleaning up but they seemed to be having a blast doing absolutely nothing. Again, they weren't busy at all. I probably will find another location to grab a quick bite to eat. This experience was absolutely disappointing and appalling. 1-star and I want half of it back. read more

We have been to Ruby Tuesday over the years but have not been in a while. The waitstaff was wonderful but the food was really lacking. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with tots. The fillet must have come from an anorexic chicken and overall was sub-par to a chicken sandwich I could have gotten from Circle-K for $3.99. If you want to order chicken get the kids chicken fingers. I can't tell you about anything else but I hope their other menu items are better for the price. read more

My husband and I had stopped going to Ruby in Lexington, SC. some time ago. We would usually get the salad bar because they had the best salad bar in town but then they stopped carrying some of our favorites, couldn't even get crackers. We recently went back last Tuesday, 8/15/23, to give it another shot and were pleasantly surprised. The salad bar was as good as I ever remembered it and all our favorites were there. The only reason I gave it four stars is because they didn't have cottage cheese ;). We will be coming back soon. Also our server Rhone was just precious. We were in the mood for a salad and we were not disappointed. We thought the price of a salad bar and soup was kinda high, and we weren't that hungry. We just wanted a quiet place to eat for a birthday meal. We finally ordered the specials, mac burger and chicken sandwiches $7.99 ea. We got the salad bar for an additional $1.99. We only made one trip through the bar but as always the selection was awesome. The desert was awesome as well, some type apple crumb cake with toffee. Very tasty. The wait staff was helpful and friendly and dinning atmosphere quiet so I could hear my wife talk. I should come here more often. read more

Nearly empty on a Friday night and still waited 20 minutes for a table. The whole section where I sat was littered with dirty plates on the tables. Several servers cooks and busboys present. The place was dirty. Food on the floor, beets, pasta, onions, French fries and more. Salad bar had wilted lettuce, which they did refill upon asking for fresh. Ordered a rib eye. I don't know what cut of beef they served but it wasn't rib eye! It was mealy, and not at all a rib eye. They brought a second one, but it was the same. I did not eat it. Server rolled his eyes when we sent it back. The Manager did remove the " rib eye" from the bill. We will NOT be returning to this restaurant. We did tip the server as it wasn't his fault. read more
