So hubby and I went to Ruby Tuesdays Wednesday night. Now we have had many many discounted and or free meals from Ruby Tuesdays in the past. But they always made it good. So although we don't go very often because of this, we had a coupon. Lol We ordered something we never order when we go to a restaurant. Chicken. I had a Hickory Bourbon Chicken and hubby had Chicken Fresco. They come with 2 sides. We both choose the salad, they try to talk you into the salad bar for 1.99 more, but if you just want a regular salad don't pay the 1.99. The salad that comes with it is great, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots. We eat out a lot and never ever order chicken, except chicken Johnny at Carrabbas. Anyway this was the best meal we have had out in ages. That chicken on both dishes was soooooo good, it melted in your mouth. It was moist, but cooked enough. I have a problem with chicken, I tend to cook it to death at home. Anyway best meal in quite a few years from anywhere. We're going back this weekend. Loved it. read more

Don't waste your money !!! We gave them a second chance after not going there for several months, was disappointed again. Needless to say, we won't ever go back. The Waitress was very good and polite, however the portions of the food are very small, the food we did get was not that great, and the bill was very high for what we got, and we even had just water to drink. You would think a national brand Ruby Tuesday would be concerned about food and customer service, guess not. Went for lunch ordered the special cheeseburger, restaurant maybe 50 % full, 37 minutes later the cheeseburger finally showed up. Thought this was a rather long wait so went back 2 weeks later with some friends and ordered the special, cheeseburger with extra tots. 35 minutes later and we finally started getting our food. I will say RT makes a very good burger BUT 35 minutes is far to long. Mentioned the long wait to the manager and all we got was shrugged shoulders. Went today for the salad bar special (no wait for a salad bar) another person order mac and cheese and a bowl of broccoli and 30 minutes went buy before her food came, RT was maybe 40% full. Would have mentioned or should say compline to the manager but he was too busy socializing. Since this is one of the few places in Lenoir to eat lunch other than McDonalds it's sad. But I'll take my money elsewhere. My best advice unless you have a good hour or more eat anywhere else but here. read more

Waited 30 minutes for a burger done wrong on a Monday night. The waitress did not apologize she just kept saying over and over that it was not her fault. Finally got my burger after my husband was finished eating his meal. Again no apology, she just reiterated that it was not her fault. By that point I didn't really give a damn. Let me just start by saying that ot takes a lot of effort for me to write a review, good or bad, for anyone. First, after sitting down it took ten minutes to see a server. At which point the hostess (who is always friendly, even though she doesnt exactly look friendly, but she is) came over and offered to get our drinks. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, the cajun pasta, and the BBQ pulled pork sandwhich. The dip was ok. Overly salted, and the chips were stale, but it was ok. Somethings are recipes handed down by the company and there isnt much the chef can do about it. The pasta had great flavor, but I couldnt eat it. Why? Because it came out of the kitchen on a greasy, dirty plate. When asked by the service if everything was ok I explained my issue, and they disappeared for a few minutes. The chef came out and asked if everything was ok, and said "I am sorry you didnt like it" (or something to that effect). He graciously took it off the bill, (not what I was looking for, I was going to take the pasta home anyways) but never mentioned that I didnt eat it because of the plate being dirty. I know, flipping food from pan to plate can make a splash onto the serving plate, but this was dirty. Grease under the lip of the plate, and smeared grease and food all around the upper lip of the plate. The pulled pork though? Very good. Service, was good after the intial start, but I am sure it will take a while to try this Ruby Tuesday again. read more

Like any, it's safe. The bar area is (compared to other cities) unusually free even during the dinner rush, but the bartenders seem to assume you are there just to drink. Three visits in, I have yet to be offered a menu without asking for it, even after ordering a drink, waiting, receiving the drink and waiting some more. read more

I had the salad bar and it was really good. Everything was fresh and they continuously kept it supplied with fresh fruits and vegetables. The staff was very nice and friendly. Odd rules about happy hour prices only at the bar. Why? Well apparently it's to bring the bar more business as if it's a different company? So I opted for no cocktail at all. No water brought to table until I asked. Stale smell from mildewed cleaning towels and table sticky. Food: I ordered the alpine burger. Meat was bland and dry, the fries we overcooked. I am just dissappointed. It started with the extremely lackluster greeting by the 3 hostess at the door, and the even more deadpan walk to the table. Not happy to see anyone. It was really awkward, actually. The food was moderate, but the salad bar, just tatses like processed foods, not fresh and the sneeze guard over the bar was yucky. Enjoy this restaurant very much, salad bar is out-of-this-world, entrees are delicious. Our server was great and this place is very clean. I felt the prices were fair. I don't know what these other people are talking about, I had the salad bar, Cajun seafood, and my wife had the mushroom sirloin and it was all delicious. What more can I say ? read more

I almost always get a to-go order. The food is consistently delicious and the staff friendly. They have healthy options that taste great which seems rare. After Church today my mother, my daughter, and I had lunch at Ruby Tuesday. When our food was served my mother's baked potato was not completely done. My daughter and I started to eat. My mother started to eat but only had the steak to start with. When the waitress finally came by explained about the baked potato and asked for fries instead. After a long time, the waitress came back and said she had to take the baked potato back. Finally, after my daughter and I had finished eating, my mother's fries came. She had eaten her steak by itself. No one from management came to express apologies. I asked the waitress to not charge my mom for her meal since part of it arrived after we were finished. Then finally management came to our table. I could tell by how her face looked, by what she said and how she said it, that she was irritated. She said that the only thing she would do is not charge the 3 drinks. When the bill came we discovered we had been charged almost $7 for the one dessert that was part of the 2 for $24. The waitress said she would take care of it so we handed her our debit card. When she came back she said that we needed to give it a few days to post the refund!! Why would they have charged both bills at once? We didn't even get the receipt for the correct bill. So frustrated that this restaurant can overcharge and take advantage of someone like my mother, who is in her 70's and wouldn't have looked at the bill because she trusts that no one would ever be overcharge and cheat!! I have eaten at this location 3 times. 2 Togo and 1 dine in. And after every single visit, I have gotten sick. Maybe the staff needs better food handling training. You know cross contamination training. Tonight, the bar tender who took my payment was not very courteous. She took the coupon I had, brought the new bill and laid it in front of me. I handed her the card, she asked if I needed anything else, I said no. She ran my card and brought It back with the slip for me to sign. Laid them both on the bar and walked away. She wasn't busy either. She walked to the other end of the bar and stood there drinking her drink. I grabbed my bag off the counter and left. We will not be returning to this location ever. I always give a place three chances before I totally take them off my list of possible places to eat. This place is now on that list.
