place was good to go. first visit for pedicure went well. young guy did mine. he was very good and did an awesome job. two days later go back for my nails. older gentleman. wasn't nice. did ok on nails. a couple of file burns but, o.k. (hence the lose of a star) other wise. worked pretty fast and was outta there in time to do other errands. thanks guy! read more

I was there on March 4, 2023 for a fill-in. the man that was there did this for me. this was by far the WORST experience ever. I paid 35.00 and tipped him 5.00. I was back there today 5 days later because I had 2 nails that the polish was pealing and one had chipped and another had bubbles. Today they fixed what was wrong and charged me another 25.00 and I tipped her 10. I only tipped because I know they were talking about me the entire time I was there. So as they say kill them with kindness. I've been going here for 9 years but as of today I will not return. What happened to making it right?? I will be locating another nail shop who VALUE me as a customer because this business definitely doesn't. I hope no one has to experience what I did. read more

The employee who provided the service of eyelash extensions was in such a hurry that she did not wait for me to get finished with my pedicure so that anytime I had to change the position of my feet it interfered with the application of the lashes. My friend also was receiving the same service but was charged an additional fee for a service the technician said she was providing complimentary to demonstrate how my friend could improve the look of her eyebrows. I tipped very generously despite my dissatisfaction with the service rendered. Most annoying of all was after spending 200 plus dollars, I was assured the eyelashes would remain in place 3 to 4 weeks if taken care. It pains me to say that almost immediate after leaving the salon my lashes were already falling off. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I now have had to make an appointment with my eye doctor due to an infection and discharge from one eye with the appearance of an infection beginning in the other eye. read more

The worst nail salon in the town. I had a bad experience years back at Ruby nails on Roanoke Road and decided never to go back here. Well I made the mistake of going back in there today thinking maybe their service has improved. But had the worst experience ever. The lady who did my pedicure left me sitting waiting to get my fingernails done while she took another customer. I waited about 20 mins but they kept taking new customers. When I decided to leave and pay for pedicure they charged me to remove the polish that they actually did not even remove but let me sit there with my fingers soaking in a bowl of acetone. The lady never apologized and never offered when I decided to leave but charged me for the service. They are rude and have no customer service at all.Charged me full price for an incomplete job. read more

Back in February, my husband and I were in LaGrange to meet some friends for supper & had a little time, so we stopped into Ruby Nails for pedicures (yep, he gets them, too). It was about an hour before closing, but they took us and seated us immediately. I got one of the best pedicures I've ever had. My pedicurist made sure to get all the calluses & when they didn't have the color gel I originally picked, was very patient while I picked another. They even took off my dipped nails while I was sitting in the pedi chair. It was nice to have it all done in one spot. We will be back again. read more

Went for a gel manicure and after I left the salon I noticed air bubbles in the polish. Returned to get it fixed and the male manager was very rude. He acted like he couldn't see the bubbles and that I was crazy. The male employee who attempted to fix my nails was also very rude; not talking to me or answering my questions. There certainly wasn't a thing wrong with the money I paid them. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. read more

This is the 2nd time I have been here and paid for services that I didn't receive. They advertise a deluxe pedicure for $35. But the pedicure lasted 35 minutes & the only massage I got was the sugar scrub. The last time I asked for SNS powder polish & I did not get SNS, it was another brand. I asked for a manicure & was charged $30 for a polish change, no manicure. With the manicure, the manager was all in a tizzy because someone from the State was there looking over the salon. Not my problem. Not my problem that you have to pay a fine. Over charging me, my problem. With the pedicure, they were busy, not my problem. Not giving me the pedicure I asked for, but charging me for it. My problem. I know, complain to the manager. In my experience this does very little. What does make a difference is, making my problem their problem, by not giving them my business anymore. Also by telling 5 of my friends not to give them their service either. Your power is in your purse. So my review, do not go to Ruby Nails. Unless you like to pay for services you will not get. Tell your friends. read more

They applied Gel Nails with tips to my Granddaughter's nails a few days ago. They were not done properly and starting snapping off two days later damaging her natural nails. One is showing signs of Infection!! The gel was applied to over extend the nail and was on the cuticles causing severe pain! The salon manager stated that "It is not our fault, her nails were very thin" They offered no refund or to re do the nails properly. I strongly recommend,for safety reasons, use another salon that is sanitary and has well trained staff!! The last thing you want is a bad infection that can lead to staff among other complications.
