She listened, asked questions, and then rather than do what I thought I wanted, she steered me away due to rosacea and recent antibiotics. No peel, no waxing - but an amazing, layered facial, alternating hot and cold to protect skin. I left there with a new cleansing regimen which a week later, has increased the look and feel of my skin. I was very pleased, Hazel was knowledgeable, kind, personable, and had the wisdom and skills to do what was right for my skin. You will want to go back - I sure am!

She was recommended by my other daughter. My granddaughter's hair was highlighted in a very unattractive red color. Other kids were making fun of her. Then, when it came to my hair. She did not listen to how I wanted my hair highlighted and styled. She did not highlight the color I wanted. My hair was way shorter than my daughter, and I was told it to be 85.00. I was charged an additional 45.00. She does not have prices up. Apparently, she charges whatever she wants. She also has a dog running around her shop. This dog growled at my daughter. While I was having my hair shampoo and toner on this dog, it lay on my chest. She never once told this dog to get off of me. This is very unprofessional in this business to have an animal interact with customers. This was the worst experience I ever had. To top it off, my daughter was 35 weeks pregnant. I do not recommend this shop unless you want your hair butchered.

I was nervous but wanted her to be brave and try something new. I found Ivonnes and explained the situation. When we met her I instantly knew this would be great. Her energy was awesome. Both Janet and I knew that might be a bit much for a low maintenance 12 year old, so she talked it over with my daughter and wisely advised her to go in steps. My daughter is super happy with the current shorter cut (but she still wants to go for the pixie eventually!) Happy to have a hairdresser that works with clients' wants but also understands hair and lifestyle. Also, she's great on thick hair!! I was also very pleased that she responded to my texts when so many places are hard go get people to answer or respond these days! I placed my left foot on my right knee and I rubbed my heels, "my heel, will you be doing that?" This lady tapped the towel indicating I should put my foot down and proceed to slather oil on my feet and legs one at a time (followed by lotion). Dumbfounded and speechless, I sat watching this lady put lubrication on my un-pedicured feet. Note: I did speak to the young lady realtime about this issue (in front of this lady) very calmly. She said English is not her primary language; however, it's clear she also does not know who to do a pedicure. The lady also gave me names of other persons to asks for in the future but I will walk on my hands before I ever return to this place.
