I let them know i've arrived and they bring it to my car, which makes things so much easier for me! This particular visit, I ordered Benadryl which meant I had to use the drive-thru to show my ID. Isabella was at the drive thru and she had me sit a minute with zero eye contact, not even so much as an acknowledgment, (a simple "We'll be with you in a sec" would do) once she looked up, she asked for my name, she said she couldn't hear me because of the truck's engine beside me, and she became extremely rude, once I told her I was there for a pick up, she slammed the phone (used for talking to me through the window) down, hard.... and then walked away. She came back and put the order through the drop box, I went to put my ID inside and she rudely stated "I don't need your id" while rolling her eyes. I politely smiled and drove away, getting her name first. I usually speak my mind when encountering people that nasty, especially representing places that I shop in often. I just decided to make a review instead so hopefully she will get some much needed training on customer service. Everybody has bad days, but our encounter was very short and did not need to be as intolerable as it was. Anyway, love this location- it's close to my house and they're usually very friendly and helpful, hopefully this bad apple won't ruin the whole bunch:)

The closest FedEx was a 15-minute drive away (and the nearby ones in conference centers or hotels would have cost double or triple), ... as someone in town for a conference, I didn't have a car and honestly didn't want to Uber or somewhere. I ordered a fairly large print job with wire binding online, assuming it wouldn't be an issue since their website indicated they could handle it and complete it within my timeframe. I was clearly wrong. The staff member completely botched the order, printing only about one-eighth of what I actually needed. She obviously didn't read the order before starting because it was pretty substantial. I was expecting a call before my trip to tell me it wasn't possible , but when I got the text saying the order was ready the next day, my gut told me something was wrong. I flew in a day early specifically to check on the order, and sure enough, it was messed up. The staff member I spoke with seemed completely disinterested in helping me and just said "Ma'am, I can't really do anything for you." The one thing she did suggest was leaving a note, but then commented that the woman who did the print job was "the store favorite and nothing will get done." I came back the following morning to check again. This time I spoke with the actual staff member who did the print job, and she seemed completely confused about what went wrong. What made the whole experience even worse was when I talked to the manager - instead of addressing his staff's mistake, he seemed to be blaming me for placing such a large print job there in the first place. This seems like something their corporate office could easily fix by updating their website. I've never been somewhere where customer service consisted of blaming the customer instead of taking responsibility for staff training. The only "redeeming" moment was when the frustrated manager told me to just take the incomplete prints for free, calling it "an expensive print job" - which would be true if his staff had been properly trained and actually printed more than one-eighth of my order.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

    I received a message from Walgreens three days ago alerting me my son's prescription was ready and…read morei had a balance of $50. I called and spoke with someone who told me the balance was there because they couldn't verify my secondary insurance. I gave here the requested info over the phone and she let me know my balance was now $0 and I could come pick up the prescription. When I arrived to the pharmacy the tech Norah informed me that there was no prescription for my son. I told her I spoke with someone and received an email stating the prescription was ready. She was not professional at all and said " Ion know why it told you that because it's not here, and we don't have it in stock" I requested to speak to the pharmacy manager who didn't come speak to me for 10 minutes, and watched her fill my son's prescription. When the pharmacist finally came to speak to me she showed me the prescription and said sorry we were having insurance issues , but I fixed it and here is you prescription. I told here that wasn't true and we fixed that issue on the phone and I showed her where the balance was already showing $0 on my portal. I told her I was confused because Norah stated the medicine was out of stock. She sarcastically said it was but I took it from someone else and walked away. Norah then gave me a receipt to sign and threw the prescription in the drawer. I am shocked , appalled, and disappointed by the rude and unprofessional way I was treated by the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens on Pontchartrain DR.

Unfortunately, last week they really dropped the ball. Someone there did not process his Doctor's approval for an essential medication to manage his serious condition. Now the process has to be started ALL OVER again so the poor baby will have been off his medicine for over a week! I know my daughter is beside herself with worry all because somebody at Walgreen's didn't do their job. They are harming a little baby. I wish there could be some kind of accountability! Hopefully people will see this review and take their business elsewhere!
