TERRIBLE. I came in for a pedicure, I had an older woman, she cut my cuticle on my big toe very deep, it was bleeding, she put some type of powder which I assume was to stop the bleeding, but it burned soo bad, then immediately put acetone on top. I had to ask her to stop. I was still charged 45$. She shoo'd me out of the shop as if she was going to be in trouble-I ended up calling and asking to speak to (what they said was) a manager, Nancy, who only requested I come back and finish. Hard pass. I came to Sassy's Nails down the road, they were much nicer and did a better job for me. read more

My nails looked ok at first. A clear sign that a tech isn't that great ia if they blame your crooked nails on "your nails juat grow that way". And then within like 4 days 2 nails chipped. The first one I could file down. The second one I woke up and the whole tip was ripped off and gone. This was a waste of my $50+. read more

I've been to many nail salons in Fayetteville but Ruby Nails is my favorite. I've been getting my nails done here for about a year now. I got these nails done by Trinh (super nice guy). I showed him a picture of a dress I was planning on wearing to a wedding and he said "okay I have an idea in my head" and this is what he came up with. Way to expensive. Had to get a full set(it was time) $28. Coffin shape extra $5. Pedi classic $30. Gel polish another 15(expected) but, come on now. Nancy did good job on both, but I could of went somewhere else with probably better results and for less. When she said $5 I was like okay that's dumb, but then when she actually started working I told her I just wanted square shape instead still $5 be cause they were long.... bs they are short. Lol. Salon was well organized and very clean. It's in a nice out of the way location. The staff is very friendly. My nails ended up very pretty and the correct shape and length I wanted. My technician was very quick and precise! My complaints are that she didn't paint them very well. My lines are a little messed up and she put them way too far away from my cuticles! I'll need a fill way before I would actually need one. Some nails are shaped a bit odd and I also somehow got charged an extra 5 dollars. I'll be trying other places, or maybe just a different tech here. I don't want to waste another 65 dollars. read more

I've been going there for years to do my nails, I decided to get eyelashes done here because my nail tech recommended that they do a good job, NOPE, they have absolutely no idea what they are doing, I ended up with a migraine for 3 days because they were glued incorrectly which lead to a horrible infection and removing them left me with no eyelashes of my own! When I called them, to you know I don't know inform them, the lady who picked up my call was extremely rude and repeated how they had a license which was not what I was trying to explain to her. This is not a very friendly place. They don't try to communicate and it's all robotic. The water was burning hot, my legs were not massaged. He was more interested in watching the TV than massaging my legs. When I questioned something he got upset and tried to show his stupidity. This place is the definition of hit or miss. Sometimes I leave feeling like I have the cutest nails in the world, and other times I feel like I just wasted my money on a half ass job. Super disappointed in my "dip nails" from yesterday that are super thin, bumpy, and I even had to come home and file them to fix the shape. All around just sad. Got a gel polish manicure done for vacation by Quinn and she was wonderful! She really took her time and ensure every detail was correct. I usually have the issue of people filing my nails down way too short while shaping them, but she didn't take much length at all and they look fabulous. Will definitely be back to see her. read more

The only reason why I give it 1 star is because there's no option for zero. I dislike a place when they are not honest and they rip you off. The service was gel overlay for $48 and I ask before getting the service. she charged me $20 extra because I received Gel polish . she told me only regular polish is included when you get Gel overlay. You should not get regular polish with gel overlay because sometimes it will peel. because I ask the price of the serviced in the beginning that should've been told to me and it was not. when discussing this with The owner She was very Rude I do not recommend and I will not be going back and she told me good don't. read more

Went in today for a simple dip nail removal, the man who done my nails had no clue on how to take the dip nail polish off it took me telling him 3 time it was still on. Did a sloppy manicure didn't put lotion on my hands, broke one of my nails he started a another customer, then the owners wife came to finish or fix my nails she keep trying to get me to get gel polish I told her I just wanted plain. She then told me I should just go with clear not the pink I had pick out when I said I wanted the pink she just put it on in a hurry and messed it up. I was never asked if it was ok and never was asked if I want a drink like the other costumers, and was never thank for coming in. This is poor service and I won't go back. read more

They don't care about the health of your nail. Real nail techs know how to do nails on natural nails without using the drill. I only allow the drill on the builder gel nail I get, once it is cured. I believe a request to not use the drill on my nail bed is a reasonable request. They were very disappointing.... you are in customer service to accommodate the customer paying you. read more

The main reason I'm giving this place one star is simply because of the quality of the work. I was treated very kind. The technician was super nice to me and very friendly. I would probably go again for a simple manicure (possibly). But I wouldnt go for any other service at this time. I got a pedicure. And the polish looks like it was done by a 5 year old. I'm very impressed! Really one of the best mani/pedis I've had. We chose this place because it looked very clean. We came in and they accommodated us right away. The nail technician was friendly and professional. He showed me a timer that said 5 minutes, referring to the time it will take for my massage... I've never had a mani/pedi with a timed massage (which I appreciate because sometimes the technicians try to cut corners in this area). Overall, I love my nails. Went for dip nails and was not impressed. The older Asian gentleman did mine and my sisters. The whole dip manicure took under 25 minutes. My nails we not very long to start, and in the process of shaping them he filed them down to where they attach to the growth plate. I was wondering why he made a comment about how long they will be in 3 weeks shortly after he filed them but didn't realize until after he was finished just how short they were. It probably would have helped if he has been looking at my nails while he was filing. He also didn't push the cuticle back or try to avoid it while building the powder which leads to a separation in the material and the nail and gets caught in hair constantly. It took only one day for this to happen to me. And it's the most annoying thing about dipped nails. Additionally he didn't bother to clean up around the edges and I peeled layers of hardened dip off the tip of my finger while I waited for my sisters to be done. Overall I feel the service was incredibly rushed and quality of the work reflected that. I can't speak for the other manicurist in this place but I would not opt for service from. I went in to the salon for an overlay (which is a few coats of acrylic over your natural nails). It is not to be a bubbly or thick coat. My nails right now are short and bubbly looking, the tech I had filed just about everything I came in with down. I'm so unhappy, and I couldn't express that. I didn't say anything mainly because I don't think they would have done anything, what could they have done? I literally just have to wait for my nails to grow back out.
