Really loved it here- Kelly was so kind! Ann, Lisa and my amazing neck massage woman (I didn't get her name!) were just the best. I felt like a queen, and left with incredible nails and toes. So relaxing, clean, and fun. Thanks to all who helped make my experience so incredible! Xx read more

This place is AMAZING!! Seriously the best pedicure I've ever had. Super reasonable, very clean and cute, and the nicest ladies! Will 100% be coming back here for my nails from now on. read more

This place is hit or miss. I've had decent mani pedis here but I've also had a number of issues. This includes rushed nail jobs, chipping/smudging easily, unfriendly technicians, and most recently someone who charged me incorrectly. The worst incident was one time when I waited an hour to get a mani/pedi even tho I had an appointment. Don't think I'll be visiting again because I can never be sure if they will do a good job. read more

Seems like a nice clean place but it is so disappointing when a nail salon employee tells you they can take you for a pedicure and then has you sit with your feet in water that becomes quite cold during the 15 minutes you wait for someone to assist you. I would rather be asked to make an appointment and come back in 20-30 minutes to be served. Once in the water, they assume you won't leave but I begin to pack up and one of the employees ran over and said 2 minutes, I promise just 2 minutes. Well several minutes later and still no sign of being assisted. I was truly done then. The nail salon was not particularly crowded and it seemed as if there were staff floating around ... not really sure why the service was so bad. read more

The staff was really friendly. Reason I gave it a 2 star is because I got acrylics done on my nails and after a week they started lifting up. read more

Great service and my nails looks amazing! I also had an amazing back massage while I was getting them done. I left so relaxed

Great service and reasonable prices. All the people who work here are great. My wife & I go every other week and we love it here. Been to all of the nail salons in the palisades and this is, by far, the best. read more

I love this place! All of the women are always so nice and do a great job. The service is wonderful and although they are always busy, I always get in without a wait. Highly recommended! read more

Best manicure pedicure in town!! The salon is clean and very well decorated. Ruby has a huge selection of polish colors (Essie and OPI) and a wide variety of gel color options. Parking is easy, there is a metered lot right next door to the salon. Ruby has done a great job with the space and I will definitely be returning! **ASK FOR: Kelly or Celine for mani/pedi** read more

Ruby Nails & Spa - So many color options! - Nail Salons Near Me - Pacific Palisades, California

I am staying in the Pacific Palisades area for a few months. I made an appointment with Ruby's for a shellac manicure and deluxe pedicure. From the moment I walked into the salon I was treated like royalty. Ruby greeted me at the desk, Helle and Kim gave me a mani/pedi and massages to my neck/shoulder, arms, calves and feet. Heaven!! The price was well within reasonable. The salon is pleasant, professional and comfortable. Parking is tricky on the weekends. I had to park a few blocks away due to nearby parking was taken. I was in and out in 1.5 hours. Love this place and I will continue going to Ruby's as long as I'm in the area. read more

ruby's nails is the best nail salon in west LA (Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Brentwood)! The manicures and pedicures last longer than anywhere else I've been. The women are very nice and hardworking. The space is brand new and very clean. I highly recommend it! read more

Bea's gel manis last for up to a month. Ruby is also excellent. The rest of the staff here is mediocre at best. I got home from my pedi yesterday and realized i had no top coat on my nails! Many of the staff are very pushy about soliciting for massage and other add on services and act snippy if you decline. I can only recommend Bea and Ruby, otherwise a thumbs down. read more

Ruby is the best! As mentioned before, she is a perfectionist and a truly takes pride in her work. Her regular manicures last up to 2 weeks and she is a master at mixing colors to give you exactly what you want - even with the gel polish. She also is very up to date on the best products and colors. Ruby's new shop is beautifully decorated, serene and conveniently located on Sunset. She is also very warm and friendly so it is no wonder she has such a loyal following - my friends and I have been going to her for years and no other manicure measures up! read more

The absolute BEST place in the palisades to have your nails done. I have gone to Ruby for the past few years and she is by FAR the best manicurist I have EVER been to. Her new salon is clean and beautiful and the other girls pay attention to every detail on gels, manicures and pedicures. My daughter moved to NY recently and still LOVES coming back to Ruby. The neck massages are just an added bonus to all their great services. 6 stars for me:)) read more

I've now had my third manicure and pedicure with Vanessa at Ruby's Nails and she is terrific! She's quite meticulous and professional heeding requests and able to rescue broken or split nails. The pedicure looks great and lasts a long time - Her manicures are helping my artists' battered nails finally take shape. I've tried several places in the Palisades over the years - all are very nice but I feel Ruby's nails, while not the fanciest in town, is a well run place. read more

I love Ruby and all the girls in her shop! Everything is extremely clean and they all want to please the customer. I highly recommend Ruby's Nail & Spa - I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I love coming to Ruby's Nail Salon. Very clean and excellent customer service. My manicure and pedicure always last a very long time. Great selection of colors with easy parking! read more

My first experience at this place was disappointing at best. When I walked in, I was told a mani and pedi was $34. The staff was extremely pushy and kept asking me if I wanted a massage and paraffin treatment. I nodded my head a few times when they asked me if I wanted what are typically standard services (e.g., callus removal) and was not told they were an additional charge. Suddenly, my $34 mani and pedi turned into $58. I've had much better experiences for half the price. I don't like leaving a place and feeling like I was taken advantage of. Plus, my toenail polish is chipping only two days later. So many other options, my friends. Don't choose this one. read more

This is by FAR the BEST nail salon in Pacific Palisades. I just moved to NYC and still come home to get my gels done here. I can't believe someone would write a bad review on such a great place. I can't find a salon in NY that compares to Ruby and her staff. My mom loves it,as do all my girlfriends who live in LA. Don't let a bad review scare you away. If there were 6 stars, I would give it to them. They even do great waxing and amazing shoulder massages. Trust me, your going to LOVE Rubys Nail Salon. No attitudes, just smiling faces and great work!!! read more

Terrible customer service. Walked in this place and even though they kept telling us they would be with us, they kept taking other customers that came in after we did and we pretty much had to beg them to give us pedicures and manicures. Then when I asked them to fix the polish on my daughter they acted as if they were annoyed. I won't be going back to this place. They need to learn the meaning of customer service! read more

Super clean and neat place right on Sunset in the Palisades .. Good luck with parking ... But ask for Kim ( Kimmy ) for wax or mani , pedi .. Superb ! read more

really disappointed with this nail salon. showed up at 4 on a wednesday afternoon for a mani pedi. it wasn't too busy in the salon so i thought i would try a new place in the area (there are so many in the neighborhood) to see if i would get better treatment than my usual salon just around the corner. long story short, left there with my right foot massaged for 5 minutes, my left shoulder massaged for 10, and my feet roughed up enough to qualify as sand paper (literally... you can see where they pumiced my feet and left rough skin!). sadly, i was in better shape when i walked in. i feel like i got half of what i paid for. even though there were only two other customers, they rushed me out of there real quick! didn't even notice my sand paper feet until i got home! now i need a pedicure to undo the damage done by this hideous experience!i would never recommend this shop to another soul and will never go back! huge waste of time and money! read more

First time I've been to a nail salon where the traditional foot and hand massage are not included. I was told that it would be $5 for hands and $5 for feet. I went ahead and paid for the extra service but won't be back. read more

I love going here and they do a really good job. But they refill their nail bottles with random colors. If getting a specific color matters to you like it does to me maybe skip this place or bring your own polish. I always get wicked by Essie and Mod about you by OPI and both colors turned out completely different and they told me they sometimes refill the nail polish incorrectly. Really bugged me had me stuck with a mani pedi I hated. read more

I really like this place. Clean and relaxing spa environment. Comfortable chairs. Great selection of nail colors. I always get great service here. read more

$34 for mani pedi ok price. Not cheap not extravagant. The place was clean. Didn't like having mani done during pedicure. Not soothing but ok The two ladies asked me if I wanted everything along the way. A third lady offers a massage. I said no. I enjoy the massage chair. The manicure lady puts a thick pillow on my back which I removed so I could enjoy the chair massage. Do I want calluses removed? Of course that's part of pedicure. Then while doing mini leg massage she asks if I want more massage? Huh? Optional. Yeah. $5 the manicure didn't include any lotion or soothing work. After a dry skin manicure she begins doing a wimpy arm squeeze. Asks if I want more? Like do I want her to stop or continue? Then she says $5 or $10. I figured out quickly that everything was a la carte. I thought I declined all the options but was still charged $42. $8 more than $34. Why? The calluses was $7. So $41. But she rang up $42. I just wanted out of there. What a disturbing experience. Nails look ok but skin is super dry. Not happy. Do not recommend bait and switch tactics. read more
