Had my son's Bar Mitzvah there. Place was small. Service was mediocre. Didn't even have napkins on the tables. We paid extra for an open bar and they had off-brand liquor. Food was so-so. It's not just me. My guests complained they weren't happy over all. Another red flag was end of the night they took the left over food away and didn't offer for me to take home. What were they panning with it? Re-heating it to serve to unsuspecting customers the following day? Never holding an even here again. read more

The team, especially Frank, were so accommodating when faced with the possibility of some unique circumstances to present themselves, and that was so important to me and my ability to enjoy this party which was so special to me. Christina was our day-of point person and she was classy and professional, very much a representation of the vibe at Ruby Falls. The bartenders were so nice and anticipated our drink orders before even approaching the bar which was super impressive. The waitstaff were a group of great, young professionals who were so sweet and competent. For any guest who had never been, they were blown away by the ambiance and the decor. My coworkers and I recently hosted an event here and to say we were disappointed with the customer service is an understatement. Management was extremely rude when we inquired about our contract. We were told we were being given a "discount" but when I ran all of the numbers multiple ways, I was still getting an amount less than what we were charged. We were charged $150 to use the "Bluetooth" system that cut in and out the entire night. When I went to drop off the balance, I was told the price for the bartender and maitre'd was not included, yet it was written in our contract and the numbers I crunched included that fee and were still less than the amount we were charged. The day of the event, we were given 2 waiters that were running all over to serve food, clear plates, etc. We were given paper napkins, had to serve our own coffee (no milk provided) and found it impossible to get anything needed (utensils, condiments, etc.) But with all of this, the worst is absolutely the management. I can't imagine owning a business without having decent communication skills. Being rude to customers, sending nasty texts, and disregarding questions because you don't want to answer them are not qualities of a good business owner. Attended a family party at this place, decor, bar and DJ was great! but the service was horrendous as much as the food, no silverware or napkins, straws, seating was ridiculous, No way you fit 10 people at one table. 1 women's bathroom stall and the best was the portions while serving the food, literally cutting food into quarters to try and feed each table without running out of food which they did! There is No kitchen the owner actually orders the food and has it cater in. Frank was wonderful to deal with, he was very patient with given the circumstances in the world he helped me as best he to safely accommodate my guests. After realizing I had to pull the plug on a previous venue booked because they remained closed due to the pandemic Ruby Falls came through and we pulled my event off in less than a month. The food and pricing was right on point. They also had a very attentive staff. I have a family member who needed special attention because she has trouble getting around and we had a server give her one on one attention through the whole night. Just had my sons engagement party here on Saturday June 19th. From booking the party to the night of, we had such a great experience . Frank was amazing , and Christina the event coordinator went above and beyond. The food was amazing, the decor was perfect , and the service was excellent . Even with a little mishap 15 minutes prior to the start of the even was handled perfectly without anyone knowing anything. The DJ was fantastic. I was supposed to have a party pre-covid and had a contract for which included a guarantee of 60 adults, a specific charge for teens and a specific charge for 10 yrs and under. My contract also included a 50% tax discount for cash payment. I received an updated post covid contract which would guarantee 40 adults. All other contract items would remain the same. I did not meet the 40 adult minimum and was aware that my teens would be charged as adults. The day before my event I got an invoice with the following: 1) instead of charging my 5 teens as adults they charged the 10 and under (a quick $50 for the venue) keep in mind they were charged the premium open bar price. 2) An additional $145 was charged for chicken fingers and French fries (why was that in addition to the per head price???) The plates of chicken finger and French fries consisted of 3 chicken nuggets and a few fries. Not full trays. 3) My 50% tax discount was not honored "due to covid". 4) I paid $550 and an additional $150 for an MC to engage the kids. There was no MC. None of these additional items were disclosed to me when I received the new contract. I am aware that this business has struggled but this is no way to do business. Had I been made aware of these extras I would have accounted for it. It came out of approx $500. I will never have another party there nor would I recommend it to anyone. It is a shame because it is such a beautiful place and the party planner is very sweet and did a beautiful job with the extras. read more

Amazing experience with this establishment!! Frank, the owner, made sure everything was perfect for my sisters surprise sweet 16! The maitre d relieved us of enormous stress and had the room set up before we had arrived. She asked for our vision for the room and she went beyond our expectations! And might I add everything was gorgeous! The facility is extremely clean and well maintained with regular table seating and the favorable lounge area. The decor is chic and elegant, unlike other venues that have the same ordinary layout. The temperature was perfectly comfortable. The food was great and raved about throughout our guests. We had an engagement party for my son and future daughter-in-law this past weekend. The party was everything we thought it would be and then some. Frank and Trisha (our maître d for the evening) couldn't be any more accommodating!! They were really on top of making sure everything was to our liking. The place is beautiful and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. The food was delicious and abundant from the appetizers to the buffet. Gene, the DJ, was fabulous! The dance floor was packed. Terrible experience and completely overpriced. I attended a party here in January and there was absolute no heat except for a few space heaters scattered throughout the room. The rest of the party attendees and I had soot in our nares from the space heaters and poor ventilation. After 11:00pm we had to open the buffet ourselves because it had yet to be served. When a fight broke out in an adjacent room, our party was cut short by 2 hours and we were forced to leave by the police and the owner was hiding in the bathroom. No refund or apology was even offered. When we contacted the owner, he was rude and unprofessional. Do not waste your money here. read more

Absolutely horrendous experience. Do not book your party here under any circumstance...the party I attended was entirely staffed by young kids who had no idea what they were doing. Buffet food had yet to be served by 11:00pm, we had to literally open the food up and serve ourselves because we were completely neglected by the staff. Temperature in the room was absolutely freezing and we had to complain several times before they finally decided to turn the heat up for us. Liquor and beer selection at the bar was extremely limited and staffed by a single overwhelmed bar tender. When a fight broke out at a different party in the adjacent room, our party was also ended early. At this point the owner had vanished without any explanation or apology, meaning zero communication from management as we were thrown out into the cold. Since then the owner has been nothing but rude and demeaning towards us when contacting him about these complaints. Spent $125 dollars to attend this event and regretting giving this business my money. Save yourself the trouble and have your event somewhere more professional. read more
