It wasn't busy at all when we walked in. The place is well set up. They have several seating sections: 2 outside and 2 floors inside. Because it was very slow, the main dishes were not being served. Only tapas were available.
We ordered Iberico Black Ham, Marinated beef, Pica Pau, portobello mushrooms with ham and quail egg. We also ordered a bottle of wine. read more
In English, forgive me. This became our "go to" place while on a one week holiday in Lisbon. We ate there twice and would have gone more had we not run out of time. I was surprised by how much it cooled off at night and the temperature dropped. Our first dinner was seated outside the night of a concert in the arena. The place was packed with people all over the place and then BOOM they were all gone (not in an explosion kind of way) and suddenly we were seated outside almost alone. Then it started to fill back up again. Our waiter was a fantastic young man who was also a student but I failed to capture his name (hope to come back and provide later) whose service was FANTASTIC. I ordered the steak sirloin rare and it was perfect.
I'm an architect and love the decor of the whole place and would recommend it highly.
The second night we dined there we ate inside on the upper floor and I actually ordered the same damn thing. If I was to go a third time I would surely try something different but when you find something or someone you love you try to hold on. read more
