I requested quotes from 3 companies and scheduled appointments. Adolfo was the first to give me an estimate, he arrived at the scheduled time and inspected the birch. He recommended that it would be best to take the tree down and grind the stump because it was infested with carpenter ants and was leaning towards the neighbors yard. He gave a very reasonable estimate to take down the birch grind the stump along with another stump and clean up the honey locust and a crabapple tree. The second company never showed up for the estimate. The third company arrived on time but may have spend less than 5 minutes getting me a quote never mentioned anything about the carpenter ants I accepted Aldofo's estimate and was placed on the schedule. About a week later I received a phone call the day before that they would be onsite at 7am the next day. Adolfo and his crew arrived early and were already working at 7am. They quickly took down the birch tree and started on the honey locust. His crew also removed any dead branches on any additional trees in our yard for no additional cost. Adolfo and his crew left our yard cleaner that it was before they started. 5 star company, will be doing business again with him and will recommend to anyone needing tree service.

Outstanding Knowledgeable Tree Service…read more Pichinte Tree Service. Jose Pichinte Certified Arborist 847-971-7736 apichinte@yahoo.com I rarely write reviews but make exceptions when I experience great quality, professionalism, learn something new, they crew was on time and had great attention to detail, AND was reasonably priced as a bonus. We had two tall and large dying pine trees removed, stumps ground not just ground down but below the stump. The owner that gave me the quote is a Certified Arborist and he was here with his team to do the work with his own equipment vs rental. When I got the quote he took the time to notice tree health issues all the others missed which we already knew about and made great suggestions and offered several options beyond what we asked for that only someone with that experience would know and we had him do the incremental work at a very reasonable price. When they left, you would never know they were here other than the missing trees. The clincher was my wife who hired them was very particular and left after they were mid way to run some errands. Jose asked if she could return before he left to approve the work. I wasn't necessary but a nice touch. I had my wife return to see the finished work even though she was satisfied before.
