It's nice to know that RUAN'S CHINA KITCHEN knows me! Every time I place an order they know me by name they always give me enough portions to make sure that if it's just myself or my husband along with my daughter that we're all fed and our bellies are full and yet we have leftover for the next day too. I really feel in my heart that they do absolute great service and they are helping out the neighborhood. My shrimp was not deveined how gross! The total of my order was $55.47. I asked for extra condiments which was too much of a hassle. I was given six packets of soy sauce, four packets of sweet-and-sour, and two packets of hot mustard. I asked if I could return all of those condiments except for the hot mustard and exchange them for extra hot mustard. She rolled her eyes at me and said I gave you hot mustard. I said yes two is not enough for all the food I ordered, I don't need all of the other condiments, I just want hot mustard. She gave me two hot mustards and slammed them on the counter. Combination fried rice without pork, general chicken with white meat extra spicy, shrimp lo mien, Singapore Rice noodles, and Mongolian Chicken are my go to dishes. Very very tasty orange chicken. We've been using this take out since changing from a different place at 103rd and Central. Orange chicken has never been over cooked and is delicious consistently. The pepper steak was also tasty but had way too many onions and peppers and a little skimpy on the steak, but it was good. My daughters love the pot stickers, and pretty much everything we've ever ordered has ranged from good to great. I have ordered from them for yeats and have always been pretty satisfied. I ordered today 2 pieces of beef, eggfuyoung, and beef fried rice. There literally was no beef on the egg fu young and very little beef in the fried rice.$26 later, I called the rude girl who answered the phone said let me ask the cook." She came back and said there was beef in both. She said little pieces because of higher cost in foods., which I get however the reflect the increase. I again said there was NO beef in the egg fu young. She said the cook said there was, I asked if I could send her a picture, and she said no, she couldn't get pictures. Both items literally had no flavor. I'm totally disappointed and will not go back! So $26 for rice and eggs. read more

Ordered on-line, so I guess we avoided the rude lady on the phone. Ordering process was adequate. Our order was ready on time and was hot when we got it home, unfortunately, those were the only positives. Most of the food was standard to substandard: egg rolls were crunchy on the outside but filling was mushy (would have no idea what the ingredients were), chop suey was horrible (it tasted like it had been around for a while-wouldn't even eat it), fried rice was palatable but nothing special, sesame chicken was just okay broccoli was horribly overcooked. Also, not a big fan of the Styrofoam packaging but maybe that's why it stayed hot. My order was ready with a quickness!! Food delicious!!! I loved the Vegetable Fried rice; steamed veggies, egg rolls and pot stickers.

The food was phenomenal! Called an order in and it was ready fast, about 15 minutes. Their egg rolls are delicious. Reminded me of the ones from Lang Lee I ate as a kid. They were not overfilled with cabbage, but actual meat filling! They were wrapped in a perfectly wrapped fried wonton. I ordered 4 should have gotten 100. Shrimp fried rice had a good quantity of shrimp! Usually you're lucky to find 2 from other area take outs. Kids loved their sweet n' sour chicken. My daughter said that the chicken was crunchy and delicious. We also had the Hunan Chicken which was spicy.. sometimes I have to ask for extra heat, but not on this one. That spice packs a punch! Veggies in the dish were not soggy, but cooked nicely so they weren't mushy. I'm really happy I tried out a closer, local Chinese spot. Food tasted like it wasn't sitting around, it was prepared to order and was fresh. The woman at the register was very nice as well. The food here is bland. I ordered from here years ago and my order was wrong, I got pork instead of chicken. I called to explain that my order was wrong and the cashier didn't attempt to fix it. I was stuck with it and had to throw it out. Fast forward to this weekend, i decided to give them another try and ordered this past weekend and my order was wrong again, the food was bland, soggy, with watery gravy. I missed this place while it was closed during the initial non-essential closures of COVID. This has been my go-to Chinese place for a while now. It always gets delivered, steaming hot. The pot stickers are amazing, I love their Orange Chicken, their chicken fried rice is awesome. I've never had a delivery of theirs take more than 15/20 minutes. No joke. The servings here are pretty generous with whatever we've gotten. The woman who takes the orders on the phone is always polite and it's always been the same delivery driver who is always polite as well. Worst customer service ever, I stopped in there to have a quick lunch. I did not finish food, so I wanted to take it with me. I asked for a container, they gave me this wax paper bag. Again, I asked for a container Then they act like they have no English! So I try to put my food in this little bag, The hot mustard burned my eye!! So I simply just left all my food on the table! Apparently they give you attitude if you don't ask for utensils over the phone. I placed an order for someone else and they received the attitude for asking when there. But also on the phone the service was rude and hung up before I could even add a smoothie after she tried saying I hope you know where our location is. Hands down best Chinese around my house! They're shrimp fried rice is so good lots of shrimp in it and it's even good reheated not like other Chinese places that Ilonce you reheat it its dry. Their orange chicken is one of the best I've had it's not mushy or too sweat and it has a little kick. When we order we usually get crab rangoon, egg rolls, pot stickers, shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, garlic shrimp, and Singaporean noodles and everybody always loves it.
