This one is for Cameron! On Friday September 30, my friends and I took this tour to celebrate my bachelorette. We have never been to the Valle before, and after hearing all the violence that occurred during the weekend of Baja Beach, we were a little nervous to cross, but it was amazing! Cameron was great, he kept our group engaged and made us all feel safe! We were a private tour and he picked us up from our Air b&b, we headed straight across the border and drove ocean side to our first stop... tacos! Cant go to mexico without stopping to enjoy some street tacos. Next stop, Finca La Carodilla. The winery was beautiful, however, we did not love the wine... we still had a great time enjoying the scenery. Next stop, Xalos. While this wasn't on the agenda, Cameron and Ryan created this detour option for us after Adobe winery was unable to host us. Here we enjoyed a fancy cocktail and some delicious churros. Again, beautiful scenery! Third stop, Monte Xanic. This was by far our favorite winery for the day. There are beautiful hills, and a small (possibly man made) lake on site... the wine was excellent, we bought four wine bottles. Lastly dinner, wow... The scenery, yet again! The tables were set up with a picnic cloth under string lights. We arrived for dinner around sunset, and we watched the beautiful sunset colors painted in the sky between the hills. Our food was delicious, and they did offer drinks at this final stop, which we did pay for separately. Lastly, our trip was over and we were headed home. Half our group had global entry, which was nice since they did not have to step out on the drive back from the border. My friends and I are all from Mexico, however, none of us had visited this region before. Its so nice to see how Mexico is becoming more known for their wine and aesthetics... Definitely bring cash, comfortable shoes and an empty stomach as there is plenty of food throughout this experience. What an absolute delight this company is. They were able to pick us up in San Diego and get us safely back while making each stop the exact thing we were looking for. They were warm and smart and great conversationalists, which helps me immensely while stuck in the car. They took us thru Valle de Guadalupe and we got to see much of the coast on the way to our lunch taco stop. Vegan options were included so I was thrilled. We ate to our heart's content and then we made way to our first winery. It was spacious, peaceful, and extremely clean. Next we went to the second winery, our favorite of the trip and we were able to try not just the wine but some snacks made from the food grown on the property. And lastly we stopped at a small cute winery for more food to soak up the booze a bit. They fed us SO much, and then had wine and agua frescos for us to enjoy as well. Each place was slightly different and so for that I'm super grateful. They are truly some of the most genuine people you will meet. We are already planning a trip to go back with hem again. I booked Ruadeseo for a one day wine tour to Valle de Guadalupe from San Diego...and it was the fantastic! I really cannot stop raving about the wonderful experience we had and it was all because of Ruadeseo and their services! I am telling everyone about them!!! The owners were very communicative prior to the tour date and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. They provided a customized agenda based on our preferences, which my entire group was impressed with. The shuttle was just as described with plenty of room for our bags and was not shared with another group. The drive was pleasant both there and back with wonderful views and a music playlist of our choice. There was never a lack of beverages whether it was water or alcoholic. Wineries: our tour included 3 wineries that had great wine and beautiful views of the valley. The service at each was great and the pours were 4-6 tastings. Most wineries will only accept reservations which was all handled by Ruadeseo, so all we had to do was enjoy! Food: My group was provided with coffee and bagels as we boarded the shuttle. We also stopped for lunch at a hidden gem in the Valley, which had a casual garden vibe. For dinner we were taken to a farm to table restaurant that was VERY BUSY...yet we had the best seats in the house and it was fresh and delish. The best thing is that the owners have a relationship with the restaurants/wineries. We never had to wait to be seated wherever we went and they thought of everything from blankets if it got chilly to a wine glass holder for the glasses we were able to take as souvenirs. They really do take care of you from start to finish! I cannot wait to book another trip with Ruadeseo! I definitely recommend their services, you will not be disappointed!!! read more

BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE. I know I know, Mexico is for tequila and tecate! Not good wine, right? Wrong, wrong, wrong. Plus it's all inclusive! Win, win, win. It's been ages since any of us have been able to travel internationally and my soul was aching for it. Olivia and Ryan made crossing international borders not only painless but curated an intimate and personal experience that you can't get with large corporate companies. They picked us up in their spacious luxury SUV from our AirBnB as my boyfriend and I were on a private tour. There was coffee and breakfast from Better Buzz Coffee (local coffee shop) waiting for us as well as a mini cooler filled with drinks and water (they so thoughtfully asked in advance what type of beverages we liked and took out breakfast order the evening before). There's also phone chargers and blankets if you want them. Ryan and Olivia are so warm and welcoming (not to mention have killer style- I wanted Olivia's whole outfit!) and after a quick ride to the border we were in Mexico before we knew it. I took a lot of comfort knowing Ryan and Olivia have done the trips many times and are familiar with border policies and are also committed to removing the stigma that comes with entering Mexico by land. We started with a personal barrel tasting tour at the Solar Fortun storefront followed by a quick picnic style wine session at the actually winery which is further into the Valle. Next we hit a delicious taco stand for authentic tacos followed by the second winery, Monte Xanic (amazingly beautiful grounds). The last winery was at Relieve. We enjoyed all of the wineries but the last one has the most fun/hip vibe. Also, the wineries can be switched up according to your preference. The day finished with an amazing dinner at Finca Altozano (I think it's a Michelin star restaurant). This was not only amazing in taste but the grounds are gorgeous with huge staircases wine barrels to watch the sunset in and even a garden and goat pen. They also made getting back over the border a breeze as Ryan has Global Entry. So if you're still reading this grab your passport and thank you for coming to my Ted Talk and go book it already. I have wine tasted more times than I'd like to admit and I can guarantee you will not get a better deal for the intimate and unique curated experience. Way, way better than Napa.
