The clothing, though clean, is all wrinkled and the are lacking in the smaller sizes. Costume jewelry, purses and a small selection of shoes complete all their wearable items. Bric a brac, home décor and a small amount o baby related items are sometimes available. Prices are on the higher end especially when you take into account the average conditions.

I usually use Salvation Army but ended up in the Humane Society Thrift store parking lot. While cars space /parking is at a premium, they have done a fine job in assuring that they can receive objects efficiently. I was impressed. On another day, I went back to peruse the store. I found it very well organized, clean, and, though full to the rafters with treasures, pleasant to shop in. The workers are great, as well. I highly recommend a trip to see it! If you are a thrifter, you'll be hooked!

We have many feral cats in our neighborhood. They fix the ones my neighbor and I take to them. I…read morewished everyone in this community would follow suit. We were in a long line of cars but they took us in order. It was worth the wait. Sadly people just don't care and there's an overwhelming amount of feral cat colonies in Ocala. Thanks to this shelter we can get them spayed/neutered for free. I can't imagine not having them in our city.

Last month I visited this thrift store with my elderly mother. When we entered, we noticed a…read more"service dogs only" sign. My mother has a legally recognized service dog in Massachusetts, so we didn't anticipate any issues. We spent about 15 minutes browsing and had items we intended to purchase. When my mother's back started hurting, I grabbed her small dog to help. At that point, two employees approached us in an aggressive and confrontational manner, demanding to know why she had the dog and insisting it needed to leave. The way this was handled was extremely upsetting and, frankly, humiliating, especially toward an elderly customer with anxiety in the first place. Rather than addressing the situation respectfully, we felt singled out and surrounded while simply trying to shop. I ended up taking the dog out to the car, and we left shortly after. Unfortunately, this experience completely overshadowed what should have been a simple visit. Between the high prices and the way customers are treated, I would strongly recommend choosing one of the many other thrift stores in the area. Compassion and basic respect go a long way, and this was a very disappointing experience.
