I usually use Salvation Army but ended up in the Humane Society Thrift store parking lot. While cars space /parking is at a premium, they have done a fine job in assuring that they can receive objects efficiently. I was impressed. On another day, I went back to peruse the store. I found it very well organized, clean, and, though full to the rafters with treasures, pleasant to shop in. The workers are great, as well. I highly recommend a trip to see it! We were in a long line of cars but they took us in order. It was worth the wait. Sadly people just don't care and there's an overwhelming amount of feral cat colonies in Ocala. Thanks to this shelter we can get them spayed/neutered for free. I can't imagine not having them in our city.

However, there is one policy that I find very frustrating, and it feels like a scam. Their return policy states that they do not refund money; instead, you only receive store credit. This is their biggest issue. For example, their washers are not tested, and they claim this is because there is no external water hookup available. You have just three days to make a return, so if you buy something on a Thursday, your return window will expire by the following Sunday. It's important to note that this is a commercial building, and it is against county code not to have an external water hookup. Additionally, under Florida law, retailers are not required to provide you with a refund.

The store is very full, because of these prices. These items are given, they should price items to move them on. I saw a Brahmin purse priced at $150. This wasn't a big purse and I believe $75-100 would be a fair price and move quick. I saw a purse $58 As Is written on the tag! Glass items priced $28-58.00. I walk in, would love to buy but not for these prices. The store needs to reconsider there pricing and clear this old merchandise and collect a fair price. I was told at the Hospice Thrift by the DMV. They do not reduce Chicos brand.....what!! Even Chicos has a sale! Lol.
