Webster Swap-O-Rama - Jan 2023: Live music today on the holiday-- he was VERY good!

TIP - Bring cash!…read more I've heard about Swap-O-Rama in the little town of Webster for quite a while now, and I finally had the chance to visit! They're only open on Mondays, which normally doesn't work with my schedule (lol). But with Memorial Day falling on a Monday, we finally made the trip. It is also their busiest day of the year. We arrived around 9:30 a.m., though I believe they open as early as 7 a.m. Even though we stayed until around 11:45, we probably only covered about 1/3 of the entire venue. The place is big! Swap-O-Rama features both indoor and outdoor spaces, with rows and rows of vendors selling everything imaginable. From antiques, tools, clothes, electronics, collectibles, handmade crafts, plants, and household items. They also have an entire aisle of produce and fruits. We left with a couple pounds of grapes for just $2 and a decent-sized watermelon for $3. Once we got home, my husband sliced it up, it was sweet and delicious. There's no shortage of food here. We saw vendors selling: Fresh coffee and lemonade, Kabobs, Kettle corn, Corn on the cob, Hot dogs, beer and more. Swap-O-Rama in Webster is a fun day trip worth making, especially on Memorial Day. I am already making plans to go back next year.

Many vendors. Vendors were nice and willing to bargain. Good parking. Food, water, soft drink,…read moredraft beer, and canned beer are available. Open first Saturday of every month from 8am until 2pm. They do charge admission fee of $5 per person.

Today we spent a good portion of our day at this market. We came during their antique extravaganza,…read morewhich my parents had not experienced before when they had come, and we had a really nice time. The antiques were old and super random, the food trucks had a really nice selection, and it was a great way to spend a cloudy Sunday. There's a pickle shop here my dad and husband waited 45 minutes in line for. My dad claims this place in here has the best pickles he's ever had in his life. The pickle shop owner took his time with each customer to see what they needed and made sure they got all they wanted. This place was surprisingly cool and I would happily come back here the next time we are in Florida. We only made our way through half of it before we decided to leave. Next time we will visit the pickle shop last.

I spent the morning at Renniger's Flea & Framers Market with friends. This was my first time there…read more We walked around and browsed many items the different vendors had to offer. Some are outside, others in a covered area and even more in an enclosed area with air conditioning. My favorites were Sunshine Printing, Kingston Kitchen and The Smoker. The people there were friendly. Sunshine Printing specializes in 3D printing. Kingston Kitchen's Lavender Infused Lemonade and Sorrel were delicious. The Smoker sells smoked meats and sides. There I purchased turkey wings. My son had one and he devoured it. I plan on returning and visiting the above mentioned vendors and perhaps making some other purchases at new favorites.
