What we didn't realize was that there was damage due to a recent storm, so Kyle and Asheton took the extra time explaining how everything could go should we decide to file a claim via our homeowners insurance, as well as variations in the two roofing brands offered and the benefits of each. At the onset, we had initially wanted to get a few companies to come out to provide quotes... but our questions on cost and concerns were put to rest within the first 30 minutes of talking with Kyle and Asheton. I wouldn't pay this company to put shingles on a dog house. I found nails in my driveway, broken…read moreornaments in my flower bed, cracked fascia, broken soffit retainers, shingles that look like they should have been thrown away instead of installed, loose nail under shingle, nails pounded too far in the ridge vent I don't need. I have spray foam rafters, solid soffits and they added ridge vents without asking me. Without an air channel to vent the heat & humidity it is not a vent, it is a hole in the roof. There is spray foam blowing in the vent like popcorn so it is not sealed as stated in message (see pic). When I asked the vents be remove and the roof be returned to it's original design, I got the run around for a month then was asked to pay more money for their mistake. They have said they offered to fix it. Their "offer to fix it" is in the pics and they wanted 300 bucks to fix their mistake and not ever show up when they said. I am not angry, just done with the B.S. Danny Grassi called me at home tonight and told me there was nothing wrong with any of the work they did. Danny has never set foot on my roof and is telling me that I am lying about its condition. Also, no offer to pay for any of the damaged property. I guess that was my fault?

We no longer have to with Whipple Roofing. Stan is always (!) one text, email, or phone call away (which is more than I can say about my insurance company regarding my April 26 hail storm claim). I told a Liberty Mutual manager it's embarrassing when the roofer becomes your source of policy information and not your insurance company. Yet also your gift as Stan is more than willing, and capable to kindly, and with great patience walk you through this confusing and challenging process. In the end, yours is an aesthetically and structurally superb roof covered by a consumer-oriented contract and warranty that I suspect is superior to this area. Also, as Stan says they aren't going anywhere (even my last roofer, Home Depot, has quietly folded their roofing division). I believe him and am thankful to the Lord they aren't.
