The total bill for the job was exactly as quoted, with no surprises. Overall highly satisfied and strongly recommended.

I truly dont think you will find a better product in the Wilmington area....they truly build great decks....for those that want to read....I will take you thru our process..... If you want a quick turnaround on your deck, dont count on it, it will take several months. They are busy. Process- Salesman arrives in March...he is fantastic and helps us solve a couple of issues we had concerns with...two other companies did not. He explained procedure....10% down, if you cancel you lose half of your deposit...40% when they start and balance of 50% when project completed. You will have to submit plans to HOA for approval, they will take care of all the other permits...very convenient. We had our down payment in by the end of March and were put in Que...we were told the completion date would be mid June to late June.....their price was higher than the other two quotes....significantly, however; the product and design offered is far superior...pay the money, you wont be sorry. No communication from the end of March forward until I contacted them during the first week of June to ask about start dates....I was told they were waiting on permits...so I checked on line...its public information...our permits were not put in until May 31st....this delayed the build...the project started around July 17th and was completed on August 2nd. I feel the permits could of gone in much sooner to keep on schedule. There were a couple of hiccups during the build that we caught before they became a major issue...I would highly recommend you be home for the build to insure it is how you envisioned the project. These minor issues were solved easily and without concern, but if they were not caught before/during construction could of been an issue. One of the issues was a change we made after agreeing to a certain build height of the pergola, but while watching it being built realized it was to low...they raised it, no problem. The other was a cosmetic design that was sold to us but was not conveyed to the contractor....this was also caught early and rectified. The last was the underpinning...we thought it was included with the build because the deck was two levels and found out at the end it was not. They gave us a very fair price to add it on and completed it without hassle. They also gave us a price to have the pergola painted once it has time to weather. All of the Owners/team members I had contact with were easy to deal with....Glenn, Mark, Dino and Josue were fantastic. The deck is awesome, constructed extremely well and in the end thats what matters....I would chose them again without question.

He is a meticulous craftsman with an eye for detail and beauty. As any build there were challenges that he saw ahead of time and planned for and corrected them. His framer, Arturo, was also fantastic. The two of them would discuss every aspect of our house to avoid any problems. Chris was on site every single day, rain or shine. He looked out for it like it was his own laying down tarps, moving material around to avoid bad weather. Chris worked closely with me and my wife to give us the house of our dreams. We moved from Washington, DC to NC and the water having never lived on the water before. There were many things we had to learn about water, salt and wind. Chris was there always making the great recommendations in order to protect our investment. We had a custom home built with a lot of high end appliances and features. My one issue was Chris's regular tile installer was too busy and the complexity of the job would've made it so he couldn't take other work so we got a different installer. They put an inexpensive tile on the top of expensive tile on the steam shower bench seat, the top of the knee wall in the main bathroom and the guest bath, and the niches in the shower. We have been in the house 1 year and there have been no issues. The punch list was done soon after we moved in. Some caulk dried in the kitchen which was touched up by the painter immediately after a call. We have had many people come and look at our home and they all make the comment, "Your builder did a fantastic job building your home. Everything is beautiful, plumb and well built." I would highly recommend Olde Anchor Building Co for a custom home build. If we build another, Chris will be our builder!!
