ROYCE' Chocolate is incredible! Located at the Venetian Grand Canal Shoppes, you'll find them near St. Mark's Square, across from Na Hoku Jewelry. They're in a busy atmosphere. The shop offers a nice selection of Nama chocolates, as well as nut and fruit bars, chocolate wafers, chocolate-covered potato chips, and wonderful gift sets. I tried a small sample of Nama Chocolate Matcha, it has a unique blend of white chocolate and matcha, consistency is a silky creaminess, and very sweet. Also tried Nama Chocolate Ecuador Sweet, delightful and yummy! It has a wonderful sweetness and pleasant, I can see why this would be a customer favorite. Personally, I'd go for less sweet and after trying a sample of Nama Chocolate Ghana Bitter, I felt this one is perfect for me, it's not bitter at all, the quality is superb! It has a rich, intense dark chocolate, consistency is soft, silky, not too sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth creamy, I absolutely love this! Both Ecuador Sweet and Ghana Bitter are excellent dark chocolate and liquor-free. I end up purchasing Nama Chocolate Ghana Bitter (20 pieces, $23.99) for its high quality dark chocolate, made with fresh cream, and it pairs amazingly well with good coffee. I feel like I've been eating chocolate-flavored spam my whole life, and then suddenly someone handed me a Filet Mignon -- from a cow that only ate organic grass, did yoga at sunrise, and lived a stress-free life on a remote Swiss alp where yodeling was the only noise pollution. I am forever changed by this experience at Royce' Chocolate. Now, let me be honest -- the level of disorientation & mass f@ckery I experienced trying to find this place? Top-tier chaos. I was so lost I think I passed through four alternate realities. But was it worth it? Oh, absolutely. USE THE DIRECTORY. Ask everyone. Ask the janitor. Ask a plant. Just get there. The store itself is tiny, but like... in a chic, "mini Apple Store, but for chocolate" kind of way. And the ladies who greeted my brother and me? SO SWEET Like... Willy Wonka could never. Lovely little shop located across from Na Hoku in the Venetian hotel shops area. There's a variety of different chocolates and sweets offered at this location. Some are refrigerated and some do not need refrigeration. There are alcoholic blends and plain cacao choices. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. I have tried the matcha flavor and it was great. This time I purchased the Nama Chocolate "Champagne Pierre Mignon" and Nama Chocolate "Bitter" flavors. The champagne is light but the chocolate is infused with fresh cream but isn't super sweet. The bitter is crafted from dark chocolate and infused with hints of cognac. This place is great! I can't believe I had never heard of or been here before! Their little shop is a little difficult to find but it is basically located on the 2nd floor of the Grand Canal Shops, across from Na Hoku and near Shoe Palace. Their chocolates are a little pricey but they're so tasty and high quality! Everything is made in Sapporo, Japan with Japanese dairy and shipped to each of their stores worldwide. We tried a handful of items including their most popular Nama line, chocolate covered potato chips, and matcha chocolate almonds. I really liked the Nama chocolate and ended up purchasing a box of the Port Charlotte (scotch whiskey) chocolate. Took a while to find as we searched for the shop and found out we had walked right by and missed it. That can happen with the enormous amount of shops to see. Greeted by the one hostess this morning and what a pleasant and warming welcome we received. These are actually chocolates made in Japan and after tasting a few we ended buying more than we needed. What a lovely treat running into this little chocolate shop tonight was. I forgot to get the name of the lady that helped us out but she was awesome. It's Saturday 7/19 around 8pm if that helps management recognize who she is. She told us all about Royce', their background, ingredients, and what makes them special. She even gave us a couple samples of various chocolates and told us all about what makes each one special. One of the samples was a chocolate flavored potato chip. Not my favorite. I prefer their Nama chocolate and truffles. The only chocolate I like with a crunch is the kind with crisped rice (similar to a Crunch bar). I purchased a box of Orange Petit Truffles and they were the most delectable chocolates I have ever eaten. It was $18.99 for a 3.7oz box of 12 truffles. In summary, the associate working tonight was amazing, the shop was so clean and organized, and everything we tasted was delicious. The woman who worked the cash register provided wonderful customer service offer and tons of free samples. Some of which were a pass. Others I really liked, like the white chocolate candy bars and the chocolate covered chips which made for a salty yet sweet snack, which I really enjoyed. Some of the imported chocolate was divine and worth every penny. Other items, however, might be considered overpriced. For example they sell a $14 candy bar, which is a bit much in my opinion. I never advertise one business while reviewing a completely different business so I won't name drop but I definitely know where to go to get a delicious milk chocolate/Belgium chocolate candy bar for five bucks. Overall, I can see myself returning. Not on a "regular " day but something special like an anniversary or Valentine's Day. I discovered Royce in Japan and was excited to find the store in the Venetian! Its located in the Grand Canal Shops right by the water. Right down from the "sphere experiences" (Backstreet Boys,Kenny Chesney). They have a great selection of chocolates, including the seasonal. I bought Hakutouberry/Hakutouwhite which is seasonal and the uji matcha. The nice thing is that they are individually packaged in the box! Mary Jane walked my boyfriend and I through all the different options/chocolates they offer, as well as products yet to come. This was my first time trying Royce chocolates and I am so glad I found them! They only have one store in Vegas and they are located in thr Venetian! Cool and tasty experience! I've never had Royce' chocolate before and was curious to see how their chocolates were. My friends raved about it to me before but I've never understood what there was to rave about....until now. Located in the Grand Canals shops at the Venetian, Royce' chocolates is a cute little shop with a good variety of different chocolates. Some chocolates have liquor in them. I've never had liquor in my chocolates before so this is a first for me! The employees were helpful and let us sample 3 different flavors they had. They had the white chocolate, matcha, and dark chocolate (65%). Each one had a bit of liquor in them but I didn't taste it. The white chocolate had orange and cherry liquor in it, but what stood out to me was the cheese taste in it. It melted in my mouth! The matcha one is one where it would be a hit or a miss. If you like matcha, it has a strong matcha flavor to it. The last one was good too. The dark chocolate did not taste bitter but there is a Hennessy taste to it. We appreciate how they had a ice pack to it because it does have to stay cold. The ice pack stays cold for 6 hours. We also ended up buying a original Royce' potato chip (milk chcolate). My wife and kids ate up the box of chocolates in 2 days, so we made sure to make a trip to The Grand Canal Shoppes today to purchase a couple boxes of these delectable chocolates. They are super creamy, similar to a truffle chocolate, but in small rectangles. They have several flavors as well as cookies and wafer covered with chocolate. The employees were all super nice and asked if we needed help as we were browsing through all their offerings. The boxes of chocolates come in a box of 20 small rectangles (slightly bigger than a Hershey's rectangle) for $19.99 (~$1 per rectangle, not sales tax on the chocolates). Our relative told us she bought the boxes of chocolates for ~$5 each in Japan. While I love Royce chocolates, I had a terrible experience here. We came in on VALENTINES day and wanted to check out the selection here and pick up a treat. It is a small store front, which no big deal I thought, since we would just scan through the options. As I was looking at the main shelf and going around it, there was a group on the other side that I was approaching. Before I could even register what was going on and react, the sales associate rudely and aggressively yelled "that's a private tasting!" At me. I was appalled that I was confronted in such a rude and aggressive way when I was just trying to look at the products. There were no signs and it was a small floor print. It was an innocent mistake and could've been handled a lot more respectfully and in a customer service oriented way. I was so embarrassed and disappointed that my partner and I quickly left since I don't believe in patronizing a store that doesn't treat its customers well, or treats them like less-than. Used to really like their chocolate when I lived in Asia but guess now I have grown out of it. Got a box of the whiskey barley and a box of bitter dark chocolate. The barley one has a strong alcohol taste in a unpleasant way (my friend is a HUGE fan of whiskey and did not dig it either) and the dark chocolate was just mediocre. The best part of Royce chocolates is the texture. It's made with cream and melt in your mouth almost like ice cream. It's quite magical when you first bite into them. Flavor isn't where they shine. In Japan they had the matcha one that was quite good. The person will likely tell you to keep them refrigerated - don't worry, it'll be fine for a few days in room temperature. I first had these chocolates back in early 2020, after that whenever I visit vegas I have to buy some. Its so good! Some of them have liquor so beware. Its so inexpensive as well, for 20 pcs its $19.99 and well worth it. They do come with ice packs as they have to be cooled all the time just a heads up. We usually just put the whole packaging in the fridge when we get back to the hotel. The staff is friendly as well, they offer assistance if you have any questions about the products. I mean, I read the reviews when he asked me to look for a chocolate spot in Vegas, so I chose this... little did I know that we also have one in the Bay Area... so, he added extra to it. My favorite is the matcha nama and the hazelnut nama. Their strawberries and cream wafer and chocolate bars are out of this world too, but if you're a first timer, opt for one of the Nama boxes. Wowowow I am not a big fan of chocolate but wow this is sooooo delicious! I was not familiar with this company but apparently it's a popular Japanese company. We bought the dark chocolate set and the nama mild cacao liquor free. This one had to be kept cold so they gave us an insulated bag with a cold agent to keep it cold on the flight home. Divine chocolate that is just so dreamy and mouth watering to think about. Every time we come to Vegas, grabbing a couple dark blue boxes before our flight home is a must. If your room has a fridge, even better! It must be kept cold. If you tell them you have a flight, they will package it up nicely with some cooling packs. They said it will be fine up to 8 hours. Our flight was delayed by an hour, we got home to Hawaii and our baggage took forever to get off the plane. Walking into the shop, two workers immediately greeted us and asked if we were looking for anything in particular or unique. I wanted to buy as many Japanese chocolates as possible but had to temper my buying to the room in my carry-on bag and purse. The employees were charming and knowledgeable about their inventory. But then again, you don't have to twist my arm very much when I'm in a high-quality chocolate store. Fortunately, during our recent visit, the outdoor temperature didn't exceed 82 degrees F. I made sure to make my purchases before walking quickly back to our hotel on our second day in Las Vegas. I brought an insulated bag along with me to protect the chocolates from melting in Las Vegas' and Honolulu's heat, too. I bought a box of Nama Chocolate "Ghana Bitter," which I broke into immediately upon returning to our hotel room because I knew that I wouldn't be able to keep it stored at 50-degrees while flying home. Haha, that's my excuse for eating them FIRST! The chocolate ganache was delicate, creamy, and melted in my mouth with its subtle dark cacao bitterness. Hm, I stuffed myself with a few pieces before going out to dinner then returned to for more. By the end of our stay, I ate all 20 pieces by myself even though I did offer some chocolate to my husband, who claimed that I ate them all before giving him a chance to open the box. In addition to the Nama chocolates (which didn't make it home), I purchased several chocolate bars, two gift sets (Chocolat No Shiki Hokkaido), and ROYCE' Pure Chocolate (Venezuelan Bitter & Ghana Sweet) and ROYCE' Origin Chocolates for gifts to our relatives and friends.
