Special Circumstances: A day after the all clear for Phase 1 during the COVID 19 Pandemic. Details of the visit: I was late to my appointment by 5 minutes, but Jose came from inside to greet me and informed me to wait another 5 minutes to allow other patrons finish in order to respect guidelines established by the owner/ordinance; meaning to only allow a certain number of patrons inside. He told me that he would let me know when he was ready to let me in. After no more than 5 minutes, he let me know he was ready to let me in. The establishment was clean. I also noticed some other client having a manicure done. He began to service my haircut and it was one of the best I have had in a very long time. We engaged in a lot of conversation during the process and was very professional the entire time. He also shared with me a little history of the establishment to keep me engaged. Jose took his time to execute his craft. After a great cut, he inquired if I was satisfied. Which I was, just needed a slight modification and he was more than willing to respond and act in kind. Conclusion: I do plan on visiting this establishment more often as I am really impressed with the service and execution. Price is inline with other competitors. Convenient to access (fairly close to 95). Parking is no issue. Service time is as expected and was able to meet the appointment time with minimal wait time due to the current extenuating circumstances. They offer other services which I am looking forward to have an opportunity at. Make it appoint to visit or better yet, make an appointment to this establishment. read more

I really hate writing bad reviews and the 2 stars are because they were really nice. Jose my Barbar cannot follow directions! This is by far the worst haircut I ever got and now I have to go into another place tomorrow to get my hair fixed or simply take it all off!!! My hair is longer on the left side of my head then the right and the bangs he cut are diagonal and I never had bags before in my life. The low fade is asked for went right out of the window!!! This guy dose not know how to fade or maybe just had an off night. He also knows he messed up bad when he started with the 2 pounds of gel and the blow dryer to try and mask his destruction. I have known Ivanova for over 10 years and have followed her around Dade and Broward counties because she definitely knows how to cut and style my hair which is not easy to do ( Very Thick and lots of hair which was very long). We also went to the same HS in NYC but at different times! Jut sayin... Just a coincidence. Anyway I was doing my own hair for a while and decided that I needed a proper cut ( 5 inches off) and wanted to have my hair lightened. I made an appointment and came in. My temperature was taken and Covid procedures were enforced. I showed Iva a photo of what I wanted and she got straight to work. Everything was right on target as in the past. The, color, cut and blow dry was phenomenal. Her husband does the barber part of the business. I found this place online and soo glad I did. Eva was so nice and attentive. I'm very picky about my hair. She did such a good job straightening it out - I have a keratin and it's often hard to get it nice and silky! I will definitely be back - not to mention the price is so reasonable. As soon as I walked in Alkin (owner) welcomed me and got me situated. He's real nice and conversational and careful when cutting my hair. I am very pleased with how my haircut turned out. Although it has the name barber shop (and from what I saw they did a great job on men's haircut & beard work) it also has salon services for women.
