Walked in, sat down right away, and now Caesar is my new barber. Place couldn't have been cleaner. Price commensurate with downtown Stuart location as well as competitor pricing. Was travelling for work all week, and needed a haircut. My hair is nothing to brag about, and a few swipes with a clipper is all it usually takes. Not sure what the name of the man who cut my hair was, but he treated it like it was royalty. Not just clipper, but trimming and even razor shaving around the edges. You can tell the Barbers a good at what they do, however it is over priced. One thing that really bothers me is that every barber turns you away from the mirror while they cut your hair. Now I understand that is a practice some barbers do as they feel the mirror is intended for them to have a better visual but honestly, I like to see what they are doing so I can let them know if something is not the way I wanted. It is too late after they turn you around to show you what they did. If I was a regular, with the same barber, and the same cut every every-time, then okay, but I will not go back to overpay and hope the barber is giving me the cut I want. Also, for that price and what is intended to be a "classic" feel barber shop - what ever happened to the heated shave cream and strait edge razor to clean up the neck after the cut? if you want to overpay for a clipper cut go here. The barber (Martinez) refused to use scissors. He cut my hair with clippers in 15 minutes. Then spent another 15 minutes shaving my neck and around my ears. Waste of money! read more

I've going by this place for years and never stopped in, until today. I just walked in, with a short wait to get in a chair. Cody was was my barber. He asked the right kind of questions on what kind of look and cut I was wanting. His attention to detail was great, he made sure all my lines were straight and even. He used a straight razor to make outline of my beard clean and sharp. Moisturize my cheek and hairline to make sure I don't have any razor burn. Our first vist to this Batber shop as conveniently located near where we live. My husband desperately needed a haircut as he just got out of hospital a week ago from breaking his hip. So, i needed to assist him into barbershop. I also had my service dog who i take everywhere for obvious reasons she is my service dog for medical reasons. Immediately i was yelled at by a rather rude barber no service dogs allowed! I was rather humiliated as it was a room full of people. I told him she is my service dog . i always carry my card. He demanded to know what my disability was ! Again, humiliated. Not all disabilities are visual. My poor husband who is temporarily disabled only 52. Was appalled at how we were being treated. I told him let's go not going to be treated like this. Apparently, this place has no empathy for disabled customers. Rude and discourteous and unprofessional. No worries we drove 5 mins away to a excellent barber shop who treated my husband and i with excellent care and no discrimination!!! read more

Just had my first haircut and certainly found the only barber shop I will ever use. Shop has original refurbished chairs dating back to the early 1900 s that are comfortable and cool. My barber Carlos took his time something very rare today, and did a perfect job. Scissor cut,trimmed the eyebrows, shaving cream and a razor cut then used the blow dryer to remove any cut hair before completion. Carlos is a terrific barber and very sociable plan to request him next visit. Fifteen dollar "cash only " was a bargain I highly recommend the Place read more

Was in the store early to get my son a hair cut. He is very young and is still learning how to sit still for a hair cut. The barber who has cut my sons hair before was rather off. When we went to get in the chair my son sat on my lap and became upset, the barber became annoyed. I asked him if he could cut the front different today as my wife wanted it shorter so she didn't have to brush the front everyday. The barber stated "you can get a kids hair cut anywhere" and "cutting his hair isn't worth it". I told the barber we have liked the way he has cut my sons hair in the past but just wanted a little change. The barber said "you can tell your wife she can take him somewhere else then". I said let's just try to get his hair cut, as he began to start cutting my son moved his head. The barber began telling me that he wasn't going "to do this" today and "it's way to early for this". The barber was rude, the atmosphere is uninviting and the barbers were talking crap about the owner while he wasn't there. I will not be returning for my own hair cut. I don't appreciate anyone telling my wife to shove it. read more
