A good spot to have a large group meal, lovely greeting and service was very attentive and not over the top.
Had a table of 13 and we had prime spot for people watching up and down Elizabeth Street
Starters
OCEAN SCALLOP (4pcs) - $17
Fresh Scallops Baked in its shell to Perfection with Thai Spices 10/10 these were really yummy and would want to be for the price.
GOLDEN CUP (4pcs) - $15
Crispy pastry cup filled with Mix Vegetables, Chicken mince and Thai spices 9/10
VOLCANO PRAWN - $16
Deep Fried King Prawn Topped with Peanuts and Spicy Lime Juice
Pad Thai - not the best and I would tell people not to order it was that average. 2/10 the biggest disappointment behind the Pad Thai, nothing volcano about them the chilli wasn't even on the plate. A very ordinary dish to say the least.
Soups - Tom Yum all very good and exactly what people were expecting.
Duck Curry, Panang Curry and Massaman Curry all delicious and started to make up for the starters. No complaints were heard during main course.
Being a BYO restaurant it was $8 per person, however watch out as they stung us an extra $1 for champagne glasses - a bit rich I thought.
You can bring birthday cake but be prepared to pay to have it served (covers the cost of washing dishes)
A nice place to go and cheaper when its BYO, just keep your eye on the add ons to the bill, we had entertainment cards which saved us (max of 3 per bill). read more
