They pulled teeth out and closed before I got to get my dentures. They molded my mouth then I called and it was closed

Been going here for quite some time Appx; 7 years I've seen many Dentists come n go and I wonder WHY? My daughter suggested for me to start my care here and since it's on a uppity area-street: meaning important BIG labels, Badges in this area , well what am I to think can go wrong? I witnessed a child being resuscitated ! NOW that gave me 2nd thoughts of staying for care BUT I have Bc You are NOT to EAT or DRINK after mid-nite and NO measures/instructions were met by parent . Horrible experience! I went to have a tooth pulled that was causing me a lot a pain, so the dentist kept injecting novacaine in my mouth ( I also was in a lot of pain the tooth was infected) so after several tries he slammed the thingy on the counter and said I had to see a oral surgeon and you could tell he was really frustrated. It turned out my tooth was infected and he shouldn't of even tried to remove it! I will never return there read more

They called me and told me my insurance approved my night guard, called to confirm, I bought a $20 uber, I arrive early and wait 30 minutes to be seen, they tell me insurance denied my night guard and it would be over $400. I was called by reception and told by my dentist in person it was approved. I call insurance to confirm it was denied at would be $400, they tell me it would have been around $100. I tell them what they said, they print out a paper that says $100 and say it's still going to be $400. I have to leave and buy another $20 uber back. This took around 2 hours of my day. I wasted time and money coming here today and don't recommend anyone come here. Messy rude staff. read more

My kids and I have been coming here for a long the time, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. --They are quite prompt and professional with a down-to-earth vibe. --The reception and dental rooms are clean. And my goodness, the period of time between arriving and being seen are very satisfactory. -- I had a couple of molar cavities and they took care of them both within one shot! With my extraction, the time to remove the molar was about 10 minutes, but it truly was a gentle experience. All in all, I recommend a visit here, it's worth it, for sure. read more

The Worst Dentist around. I got a fill it fell off 2 days later got a root canal a month later it was still hurting. I went in with no pain left not being able to chew on either side of my mouth. The receptionist are all ghetto and rude. They allow them to talk to you however they want no consequences. If you are smart you will stay away or you will be in jail with dentures. read more

Terrible!! Had my appointment cancelled on my six times in a row, then when my most recent chance to get in comes around I was suffering from an infection so bad I was hospitalized and had to cancel the morning of my appointment. Now they said I can't reschedule because I cancelled, even though they are clearly at fault. I'm contacting the better business bureau and telling everyone that this place is a terrible example of what you should expect from a dentist. read more

Royal Smiles? More like YELLOW smiles! I went in for a cleaning, and was told that one of my fillings (silver) had a crack in it and I had to fix it. I agreed to have it fixed (after all the doctor knows best, right?). Upon completion, I noticed that there were little red specks on the new filling. I didn't question it at the time, because this new filling was white/resin and I've never had a resin filling before. I just thought that the red specks were a part of the process and would go away. In addition to the red specks, I also noticed (immediately) that the color of the filling was not as white or bright as my natural teeth, it was YELLOW!!! Again, I thought maybe it's just part of the process because I've never had a filling that was not silver. In addition to the specks and the color, I noticed that there was a slither of grey/silver showing under my NEW filling; which made it look like I had a cavity forming. The color of the filling NEVER got better, and it has been a week now! I'm so disheartened by this whole situation, I whole heartedly regret my decision to try this new place and should have stayed with my old dentist. I feel ashamed to opened my mouth sometimes, because I am now so conscious of the mismatched (YELLOW) color of this new filling. (The staff were very pleasant especially the tech and assistant with the dreads, receptionist - not so much). I only wished that the results of my FIRST visit to Royal (YELLOW) Smiles were better, had it not been for that perhaps this review would have been a positive one; and I would refer my colleagues to this place. But, never will I put them through the disappointment that I experience - that just wouldn't be right (and I do appreciate them). read more

This place will ruin your teeth. They use plastic fillings that will fall out or just rot the tooth away within less than 6 months. I don't even think they are dentists here, and the staff barely knows what a tooth is. My "real" dentist was appalled and even took pictures of all the damage so this won't happen to someone else. Before I went in my teeth were great, and now I need to spend thousands to fix the damage. I can't even believe they are in business still. read more

I called into this dentistry office today August 24, 2020 at 9:30AM only to be rudely greeted by a receptionist that clearly didn't have a ounce of hospitality. She answered the phone by say "Hold on" (not please hold but "hold on") then she had me on the line on hold for 6 to 8 minutes. When it came time for me to ask her if she can tell me if this dentist office accepts my private insurance she was very short and unclear about if this office was inside of my insurance network. Then when I asked to schedule an appointment she was very careless to provide me with a suitable date and time. She kept interrupting me in mid sentence to offer me times and days that I was trying to tell her wouldn't work. After her continuing to talk over me loudly I hung up & then called back to have her give me her name so I can talk to her supervisor & she refused to provide me with her name & hung the phone up on me. I called a total of 10 times and she continued to pick up and hang up the phone on me. It's extremely frustrating to deal with someone who has such poor customer service skills. I'm pregnant and I just wanted to have a chance to have my teeth looked at before my babies arrival. I'm definitely disgusting with this women's attitude! It says a lot that she didn't want to provide her name I'm pretty sure I'm not the only patient that feels this way. I would of gave Zero stars if it was an option!!!! read more

Very nice receptionist. Saw two of the dentists. They were both very nice. Had root canal done. Dentist was very concerned with my comfort. Did a great job making sure everything was right taking x-rays during procedure to check his work. Did not have any discomfort at all after novicane wore off. So glad I finally found a good dentist that I like. read more

I went in for my first appointment at this office and did not leave happy. The reception process was decent, waiting time wasn't anything too terrible. The dental assistant was obviously new and had to do my X rays a few times before getting it right. The dentist I saw unfortunately was extremely rude and condescending. Upon reading my X-rays, he insulted me terribly. Each time he would find a cavity or other issue he would belt out an insult. During my visit I heard "Do you not brush your teeth?!" "I'm going to call your husband and have him brush your teeth for you." He was rude and the dental assistant sat there and laughed at the terrible jokes. I explained to him that I had never had a cavity in my life before having braces. And that I was unable to fill my cavities due to my recent pregnancy. He told the dental assistant "jot that down, I'm sure THATS why." He even called me a "hot mess." It was extremely rude, unprofessional, and embarrassing to say the least. I went in there to seek medical help and treatment not to be made fun of. I left wanting to cry. read more

Royal Smile Dentistry is a royal pain in the a**. I arrived at my 10am appointment (for my two young children) at 9:45 as requested. Upon arrival I was told that I didn't have an appointment. I assured them I did and after some back and forth the receptionist said that my appointment had been moved to 3pm and 4pm and that someone "should have called" me. Nobody had called me and I had already taken the time off of work so after some more back and forth she offered to "move me up". That should have been my first clue. As we waited in the waiting area I watched as each and every person who walked in the door had an issue - mostly the same as mine - "oh we rescheduled your appt and someone should have called you" and others were more complex. We finally saw the Dr and his several assistants and the procedure was chaotic at best. It is painfully (literally and figuratively) obvious that the dental assistants are new and have almost no idea what they are doing - causing procedures to take longer and therefore causing my son to need more and more novocaine injections. The procedure was half completed and done incorrectly. In short - very disorganized, little knowledge of procedures (we were having a filling and a crown placed) and lots of pain and discomfort. Wouldn't recommend to someone I hated. read more
