My 2-year-old nephew has repeatedly come home with scratches, and there have been situations where children fight over toys and hit each other without what I feel is enough intervention or protection from the staff. We were also repeatedly told that my nephew was trying to bite other children, which was very concerning and frustrating for our family. What bothered me most was the lack of warmth and kindness I witnessed toward him. I personally saw my nephew try to hug one of the workers, and instead of receiving affection or reassurance, he was met with indifference. He is only two years old and deserves patience, comfort, kindness, and attentive supervision. I understand that toddlers can have difficult moments and that accidents can happen in daycare. However, parents should feel confident that their children are being supervised, protected, and treated with compassion. Based on what I have personally witnessed and experienced, I would not recommend this daycare to other parents. Please do your research and carefully consider whether this is the right environment for your child. Your child's safety and emotional well-being should always come first.

They bus kids in from all over the place for the Magnet, but the wait list is long, so sign up early (like seriously at birth) to ensure your kid a spot. My daughter did Transitional kinder here with Mrs. Furr, and this year tested at 2nd grade level in reading and 1st grade level in math. Last year I would pick her up from Magnet and she would teach me all about bats, snakes, the water cycle, insects, you name it. It was wonderful to pick her up everyday and see the happiness on her face. The teachers and staff really love the kids and care about their education and development. I can't say enough good things about the school. It is a wonderful and safe place to educate your child and I recommend it highly.
