This business is ran by husband and wife and they really do a spectacular job. I simply needed the back stapled shut but they did so much more. Jan adjusted the puzzle and taped it down. She cleaned the glass, she stapled the back shut and added a brand new backing and wire for hanging. They even provided the nails to hang it. It literally looks brand new and beautiful. I had not been to Sam's since they moved across the street a few years ago. As a customer I went for some colored pencils and the staff was extremely helpful in finding items for a gift. I was walked by a staff member to several areas of the store and items to choose from were placed in my hands while the staff member explained the features and made recommendations. The level of customer service and help is something you don't commonly see in retail stores these days. The store has a tranquil vibe which makes it fun to browse the many gift items. Their stock is unique in that they carry a breadth of items that are high quality at a range of prices. You can spend a lot of time here finding inspiration and treasures. They offer art classes and during the Christmas season they offered free make and take craft classes. They had a small cardboard 'house or cottage' setup inside the store with tables stocked with all the supplies you needed for that weeks's free project. This was not just for kids. My friend and I had fun making gift tags the day we were visiting the store. The store is beautiful inside and out. Framing I had…read morerecently moved, and one of my pieces had the glass broken and needed to be replaced. I was searching for something local to get it repaired before more damage was done by the glass and found Palm City Art & Frame. I called over the and the super helpful guy on the phone advised I tape the glass first before driving it over, and walked through the various glass options that they had, and gave me some ballpark pricing. I popped over there a few days later to get the item repaired and again - the person working there was extremely knowledgeable about all the various pieces / parts that made up the frame that I had (it was extensively matted etc.) Long story short- they did an excellent job of repairing the glass, re-framing it and getting it back to me in a few days time. They also have a large selection of frame styles available for those of you who need to frame something and as mentioned, they really are great with what works, and what might not, with a particular piece of art. I had the opportunity to watch them interact with a customer before me and they waked them through the whole process: choose a frame style, matting, choices of colors, what makes it "pop" and what doesn't etc. Highly recommended and I will use them again.
