We more than made our moneys worth on this one. I would highly recommend checking out an annual pass because I think if you go maybe three times total it's more worth it to get the pass than a day ticket. The major benefit of LEGOLAND is how many indoor places there are where kids can just play with Legos. Seriously a dream that I just sit on a bench while my kids build and they can be there for hours. I have never found LEGOLAND to be that busy. There are some rides that get upwards of a 30 minute wait, but being that my kids aren't dying for any specific ride we just skipped those. The waterpark is definitely worth it as well to add onto the ticket. It's not huge, but during Florida's really hot season which is almost year-round, it's a great perk to head to the waterpark in the middle of the day. The food options here are quite terrible. The only bar is in the water area. Otherwise you can get wine or beer at quick service restaurants. The quick Service that has slightly healthier options. That's in the area where you build cars has opened again, which is great. However, overall expect the food here to be unhealthy and quite bad. The hours are also pretty short from 10 to 6 on most days, but it is enough to get through pretty much the whole park since it isn't that crowded. Parking is also very close to the park. The workers here aren't super friendly, and the rides aren't that efficient to get on, so even if it looks like a short line, it could be really long, but again at this price that's fine. After a year we were taking a year break from these passes, but I could definitely see us visiting every so often.

This colorful disk coaster spins its riders backwards and forwards on a circular track repeatedly like a carousel on steroids. I was assigned a steed named number thirty-six, his steel mane is a handhold that most riders grip tightly before the ride launches into its continuous spinning gallop. The lack of stirrups adds to the excitement, but the motorcycle like sissy bar keeps you tightly locked against the saddle horn so if you dare you can raise your hands and scream as loud as you can without any fear of being bucked off. I'd say it's definitely one of the best rides in the park, today's wait time was just over forty minutes...

Also, there's a big ol' Vegas potion, which I adore. NASA, with a moving rocket ship, Washington DC, Florida landmarks, California and so much more! The only bad thing is that it is the least shaded area in all of LEGOLAND and man, does it feel hot out there in the open in the middle of summer. But, there are those misting fans everywhere, which is helpful. Also, some of the models are older and faded, with interactive buttons that dysfunction, but it's still super cool and lots of fun! We go to Legoland all the time and while Miniland doesn't really change much, we always have to stop by and check it out.

In the early morning and evening, typically the wait time is less than 5 minutes, however, during the day, the wait time can get up to 60 minutes. I'd recommend riding this ride a few times early morning. It's relatively quick, maybe less than 30 seconds for the entire ride. You'll need to store your items before getting on the ride. The ride has several drops and turns. Your picture is also captured at the end of the ride! You can get a digital photo pass for 2 days, $30.00.

This is a weirdly fun ride…read more The ride itself seems a little outdated and old, but it's still a ton of fun. I was afraid when we were waiting in line that when we turned the corner there would be more line (like how it works at Disney), but nope, you turn the corner right into the ride itself. That five minute wait really is five minutes. One the ride you are shooting at green targets and if you get it something happens. I really like that, that instead of just points something may move or there's a sound. The shooting isn't very accurate, but I honestly wanted to ride this again just to see what more things would do. I did jump one or two times in fright when something unexpectedly moved, but my five and three year old weren't fazed. Our friends are a family of five and they were able to all sit in a car. This is huge since some of the rides only allowed one adult per child. Overall, I'm a fan and I would ride it again.

Fun for young kids…read more This is clearly a ride for young kids, think maybe 7 and under. Luckily, that was the age group we came with. What cracks me up is we were standing in line (three adults with four kids, because the fifth kid was too short so she was with her mom) when I saw a sign that said one adult per tower. This is pretty inefficient when you really think about it, because if a child wants to ride with their parent they have to wait for an empty ride. So there's three of us adults determining which one of us is "lucky" enough to ride with the four kids. I ended up volunteering as tribute. You can see there were two empty seats with us since no other kids wanted to join us. It basically just goes up and down a few times. It's not that scary for the kids, but the little ones love it. Since I get motion sickness, this was also great for me. Usually the line is less than 15 minutes, but I definitely wouldn't stick around if it's more than that.
