Scheduled an appt to have the move-in cleaning special, since I would be moving into my house in a few wks. I was told the whole process would take 4hrs., and I needed to do a walk through before and after. THIS WAS A HUGE MISTAKE ON MY END. Before scheduling I gave the manager Theresa a list of things that I needed to have cleaned, and she said they would be able to accommodate the list. The team lead Heather and another person came out last wk. to clean my house, and I asked her if she had the list of things that I needed to have cleaned. Heather said yes. After 4hrs. I came back to the house; however, I didn't do a walk through. I needed to get back to work and was rushing for time. The next day I had to do some repairs on the house, and I noticed that the house wasn't clean completely. There were cobwebs on the walls of the room, dog hair on the basement steps from the previous owner, dirt within the window seal, and the carpets in the closet wasn't vacuumed. The services wasn't event worth $400. I didn't call and complain immediately after this and felt I will do the cleaning myself. Within a few days I got 2 surveys from the company. I figured I called them and provide feedback. I called and spoke to Loren on 02-26-2026, and she reported that they would have someone come back to the house to address my concerns. Loren said she would share my complaint with Theresa. I got a voicemail yesterday from a male whose name I couldn't understand. I called back today, and spoke to Loren and told her that I received a voicemail message to call back the office. Loren told me that they wouldn't send anyone out to address my concerns, and if I wanted someone to come to the house I would need to pay another $85. After reading another complaint prior from another customer on Yelp about this company, I should have ran. You would have better success with a 5yr cleaning your house than this company. It takes a lifetime to get a customer and only 1 second to lose one.

Their list of included services was impressive and pricing was very reasonable for all they offered to do. I told them the details of the house, how big it was, what was carpet vs. hard wood, etc. and even sent them a link to the listing online. I wanted the house cleaned after closing and before I moved in the next day. I was surprised when they agreed to do so much in one evening but readily accepted their offer. I should have known when they showed up with a crew of 3 people, one who had just started with the company that week and was complaining as soon as she got there that we were their third job of the day. Two of them looked like they were working really hard and I was initially impressed. They worked late and I left before they finished and never looked anything over completely because we weren't going to be staying in the home for a few days (my naivety was certainly a mistake in hindsight). I paid them in full right away, but when I actually moved into the home a few days later I quickly noticed a lot of stuff wasn't done that they offered to do. I paid another cleaner to come in and finish stuff that was on their contract. I have a whole lot of pictures and videos showing large build ups of dust that clearly took years to accumulate on things they never touched. I took my complaints to Krystle and asked for a partial refund (1/3 of the total) since I had already paid her the whole amount. I pointed out that there were legitimately areas that didn't get cleaned, that she accepted my money for supposedly doing, that should be housework 101 (baseboards, wood trim, chair rails, light globes, ceiling fans, etc.). When I pulled out the fridge, there was literally a two-inch layer of dust and dirt that in no way could have been addressed by them. She was immediately defensive and extremely unprofessional, blaming me for waiting too long (one week) to complain and even suggested that I or my friends/visitors made it dirty on purpose in order to get money back and rip her off. Krystle should be ashamed of herself for taking my money after missing such obvious areas and being so unreasonable and unprofessional. She signed up for way more than she could have ever accomplished for that big of a house with such a small crew and in such a small period of time and then blamed me for bringing up legitimate concerns. She should really stick to commercial flooring because house cleaning really isn't her thing.

After about a year or so things went South. One, I had to contact them every 3 months to get cleanings scheduled for 3 months at a time. Because of this we had months that were skipped (For example, I was only scheduled until March. March's cleaning came and went and I didn't hear anything for awhile so I had to contact them in April for May, June, and July. Well. there goes April's cleaning). Then, they missed a cleaning. No notice, contact, or anything. They just didnt show up. Now I don't mind if they have to reschedule or cancel, as long as they let me know. I would consider myself pretty flexible on that as they have rescheduled previously with no problem. I contacted the owner the evening of the missed appt and right away she had something set up for the next day. 2 cleanings later, again, no show. No call, no email, nothing. Emailed the owner, and nothing. Waited 2 weeks and emailed again to cancel my service. Very soon after that I get an email back stating that she was out on service and couldn't respond. Well, the great thing about Facebook is it lets you know when your messages have been read and my initial message about the missed cleaning was read the day I sent it. While I appreciate service to the country, I really do, are you telling me you left your business with no one in charge for a month? I could still see new facebook posts from your business so someone must be doing something. Or how about whoever read the message just let me know you are away and will respond as soon as possible?? Just a couple of ideas to throw out there. To make matters worse, I was told my key would be mailed to me. I never received anything so either they did not mail it back or someone out there has my key...so, guess what? Now I've had to change my locks as well. I would not recommend them for residential cleaning as they are not dependable in my humble opinion.

Called around a few local companies and didn't like the vibes I was getting from the people I was talking to. Tenderloving Carpet Care was last on my list to call and boy am I glad I did. Initially, I was impressed with the before and after photos on their website of the carpets they'd cleaned and their reviews seemed very good as well. I spoke to a woman named Adrienne who runs the company alongside her husband and two sons. She was very friendly and the quote she gave me was extremely reasonable, plus they could come out in just a few days after me calling. It's a family run business so she let me know over the phone that she would be coming with her two sons. I appreciated her telling me this ahead of time so I knew in advance how many people would be coming inside my home. On the day of service they arrived within their stated time and Adrienne and her boys got to work inspecting the carpet. As we walked around they were very respectful of our home and mindful of the other furniture pieces in the rooms. They walked around with me to see the problem areas in the carpet and even though they couldn't guarantee all would be removed by the time they were finished all of the stains were gone. Yippee!!! We were so pleased because we thought we had ruined our carpet. In total, they did the master bedroom, the hallway, the spare bedroom and an upholstered armchair in our living room. My husband had even spilled a mystery substance on the arm of the chair that they were able to get out no problem. Another bonus. Most of our stains were a year old, including a red wine stain I had made. While freshening up a carpet is a perk I think most people are like me and are hoping to get tough stains out. So this was such a win for us!! The breakers did get tripped a few times during the cleaning so keep that in mind; if you can avoid overloading a circuit I would just tell Adrienne which outlets to avoid when she arrives. Silly me...I didn't think about that beforehand but now I know which ones to have them use in the future. The cleaning took about 2 hours in total, maybe 1.5 hours. Can't remember, but we ended up chatting after they were done like two old friends. Adrienne is very friendly and her sons are bright, hardworking guys who care just as much about the company as their parents. If we had just a bit more money in our budget I would have loved for them to have cleaned our two white sofas and six white dining chairs as well since they do clean upholstered furniture. Our carpet looks and feels brand new like when we first moved into the home . If you find a good company who does a great job and who is affordable then why bother looking around? I know we will be using them for years to come and I hope your experience turns out as well as ours did.
