I'll begin by saying that I'd give this place five stars for the amazing prices on overstock bicycles that are of great quality. They carry a wide range of Marin Bicycles and both my boyfriend and I have purchased bikes from them. If you don't mind last year's stock, you can get super sweet deals! I bought my new bike on Sunday and the salesguy even put on the rack, fenders, and bolts on the quick release wheels for no extra charge. My only complaint is that he didn't seem to tighten the handlebar bolts very well and I ran into some safety issues when biking to work today. I did take the bike for a test ride and all appeared to be fine, but if the bolts are slipping after 2 days, there must have been an issue to begin with. A solid place to find a great bicycle if you're in the market. Stock at the Guelph store seems to be better than at Whitby or Innisfil locations. read more

I do not recommend buying tires from Royal, in fact I wouldn't buy any motorcycle parts as their customer service lacks in "customer service". I suggest you purchase your parts from a more reputable business. read more

Purchased some piston wrist pin retaining clips, waited 1 week for shipping(didn't ship till 3 days after my order), got the clips today and they are literally half the size of my factory ones. I wouldn't even put these on my bicycle to hold a bearing on let alone a piston. Site tells you one thing and they ship you whatever they feel. So much for buying parts from a reputable place. Looks like that's out the window. read more

I'd give them a 0 stars if I could. Some of the rudest customer service reps I've ever dealt with. I'm not one to generally leave good or bad reviews but their service is SO poor , I hope to save others from the headache we had to deal with. We ordered some parts for our sleds early December. Shipping was suppose to take a few days but it took longer ( I realize Canada post gets behind due to the Christmas season). My husband opened the box a day later and it was the completely wrong order. Do you think Royal apologized and offered to get us our order expedited? NO. They treated me like I was an inconvenience and said we needed to get the wrong order back to them and it had to arrive there before they would consider sending out the stuff we ordered. So because THEY messed up, WE needed to wait for them to fix their mistakes. Also there was an additional 10% off on site since we had ordered our parts and I had asked if they would honor that for the inconvenience they put us through. I was told 3 times by 2 different people that someone would call me back to figure something out. NEVER did I get a phone call back. Plus, the one guy I spoke to hung up the phone without saying good bye or anything, JUST RUDE, STRAIGHT RUDE, he was so grumpy. So none the less, we didn't receive our parts for a month since our original order. We have now missed out on a month of riding season with our kids. We will NEVER order from them again and are making sure our friends and family don't get screwed either and give their business to someone who values their customers. read more

This place is awesome. I ride motocross and anytime I need parts or gear for my bike, These guys will have it or be able to get me in what I need. The odd time you'll get direct OEM replacement parts that don't fit when you get them home but they have always let me return stuff with no questions asked. The people at the parts counter actually ride and know bikes/atv/sleds, makes it alot easier when trying to explain what your looking for. read more

Prices aren't bad selection is good. My problem is, worst customer service at the parts desk iv ever experienced. Wtf are all the part workers just a bunch of fucking junkies that act like I am bothering them when I need help. What a stain on an otherwise great company. This store is FANtastic for supplies, my husband just bought his 1st bike & got everything he needed in one stop. Only problem is CONSTANT horrible customer service, every girl on the cash is simply miserable. Three visits to the store in the last 2 months & each time we leave shaking our head at how unhappy & miserable your cashiers are. They cant even grunt out a Thank You on the way out - and this after shelling out hundreds of dollars (this aint no dollar store!) on products each visit & the cashiers treat you like you're some kind of annoyance. My review - the store is GREAT, but the staff has been consistently the WORST I've ever seen; get your stuff there, but don't expect anyone to be polite. read more

I can't believe no one has complained about Royal Distributing in Guelph yet(parts counter)!! My husband and I run a small engine repair shop and use Royal frequently for parts. I was there today to pick up some parts for my husband .The tall guy with a tattoo on his right arm thought he was some big hot shot. I watched as he talked down to the other employees and made everything out to be a huge deal when they asked his opinion on something. He was extremely arrogant and it was obvious that all of the other employees did not enjoy working with him. The one guy who was helping me was really nice and knowledgeable, but this tall arrogant guy made him think he had given me the wrong parts and even said to him " you're lucky I caught that for you", but really he was the one who was wrong! When I got back to the shop with the parts, my husband said these are wrong, so he phoned royal and talked to the manager who put him through to this guy who said he knew what he was talking about and that the part would work fine, and told my husband not to tell him how to "do things". My husband is an honest man who does an honest job and does not cut corners to make a buck. This guy wanted him to use the parts I bought, but next season they would need to be replaced again-instead of in 10 years if it's done properly- which means more money for the customer year after year. NOT COOL!!! This guy should be fired....he says he runs a small engine repair shop out of his garage.....if you know who I'm talking about don't go to his shop. He's not an honest mechanic and will do a terrible job "fixing" your equipment!!!! VERY ANNOYED!!!! Royal has lost our business until this guy is GONE! read more
