There is extraordinary Chinese in Adare, Ireland! Having traveled extensively and eaten Chinese in many of the hot-spots throughout the world; this lovely little place was a huge surprise. Was a lovely and well balanced meal. Really enjoyed the noodles the most. Everything tasted authentic! I thought the service could have been a little bit better. For example, we had to ask them to bring water to the table, our dishes were put on the table without serving spoons, we had to ask for an extra plate since we told her we were sharing but I think she forgot. Food also came out a bit slow. Overall - they were extremely accommodating. There was a mix up with our order and they happily corrected it and replaced it with something we could eat. The food was tasty, the interior was welcoming and warm, and everyone serviced us very kindly. Portions were extremely generous, we ate lunch and dinner! I would definitely come back here :)

It is an attractive restaurant with a cute twist - they have three robots to assist staff with food delivery and plate pickup. I think just for the robots they should have 5 stars; food was a definite 4. We started with the appetizer of the JP Mixed Platter (bbq ribs, chicken satay, spring rolls, sesame prawn toast), followed by the Seafood Trio, Fried Rice and a duck served with cucumbers and hoisin sauce. While I thought we ordered too much food, I was surprised that we were able to eat all we ordered. All of the food ordered was quite good. It was also a welcome change from what we'd been getting. Come to Jasmine Palace. It has really good food and you can be entertained by the robot.

The menu is extensive with all-time Asian favorites such as pad thai, nasi goreng, sushi, sashimi, and rice bowls. Although not necessarily authentic, you will more or less enjoy the dishes. My eyes caught on nasi goreng with shrimp and chicken served with keropek, while my partner chose chicken teriyaki. Both dishes were well portioned, and we both finished them. With attentive customer service, a good price point, and a good tourist location, this place is not a bad place to try.

I almost had a gag reflex on it. The filling was what I could closest compare to as a tuna salad consistency, but with Crab/iCrab? and waaaay to much mayonnaise. It tasted like the rice was old, as well. I happen to like tuna salad, but this roll was just disgusting. The Tonkatsu ramen was okay. The sheets of Nori were thick, and once rehydrated in the broth, they were extremely chewy. The seasoned egg was good, and the rest of the ramen was adequate, but it wasn't a stellar eating experience.
