Popped in for lunch with my mom around 1 pm on a Wednesday - no wait :)…read more Ordered a Tom Kha soup, tofu stir fry, and pad kee Mao noodles. We got rice as well. Was a lovely and well balanced meal. Really enjoyed the noodles the most. Everything tasted authentic! I thought the service could have been a little bit better. For example, we had to ask them to bring water to the table, our dishes were put on the table without serving spoons, we had to ask for an extra plate since we told her we were sharing but I think she forgot. Food also came out a bit slow. Overall - they were extremely accommodating. There was a mix up with our order and they happily corrected it and replaced it with something we could eat. The food was tasty, the interior was welcoming and warm, and everyone serviced us very kindly. Portions were extremely generous, we ate lunch and dinner! I would definitely come back here :)

Didn't see this on Yelp which is a pity as it's probably the best Chinese in Ennis. Let's face it,…read moremost Chinese food is the same but what separates them in my opinion is the quality of meat. Fortune House is the only one in Ennis I've eaten where they use quality Irish chicken and beef. Most others use that 'rubbery' chicken that tastes like muck. Also, Ennis is a small town and this is usually the latest place open if you're feeling hungry at nocturnal hours. 1.30AM from Friday until Saturday and 1.00am all other nights.

It is an attractive restaurant with a cute twist - they have three robots to assist staff with food delivery and plate pickup. I think just for the robots they should have 5 stars; food was a definite 4. We started with the appetizer of the JP Mixed Platter (bbq ribs, chicken satay, spring rolls, sesame prawn toast), followed by the Seafood Trio, Fried Rice and a duck served with cucumbers and hoisin sauce. While I thought we ordered too much food, I was surprised that we were able to eat all we ordered. All of the food ordered was quite good. It was also a welcome change from what we'd been getting. Come to Jasmine Palace. It has really good food and you can be entertained by the robot.

The menu is extensive with all-time Asian favorites such as pad thai, nasi goreng, sushi, sashimi, and rice bowls. Although not necessarily authentic, you will more or less enjoy the dishes. My eyes caught on nasi goreng with shrimp and chicken served with keropek, while my partner chose chicken teriyaki. Both dishes were well portioned, and we both finished them. With attentive customer service, a good price point, and a good tourist location, this place is not a bad place to try.
