Did a little research and found that a legal NY state cannabis dispensary Hush NY had recently…read moreopened up about 12 miles from me in the BX. Decided it was worth the 25 minute drive to go scope it out since I've been on the hunt to find such a place nearer to me in Westchester without luck. Their location was easy to find and street parking readily available The store itself was pleasant, well lit, and fully as well as professionally merchandised. I received excellent assistance & info from the sales associate (sorry forgot his name) on the floor who gave me a tour of their edible assortment. It's important to mention that all products carried at Hush are made in the state of NY so this obviously helps support our local economy. I decided on a couple of different brands of full spectrum sleep inducing cannabis gummies. My transaction was easy & painless, although please be aware that Hush only takes cash & debit cards. Luckily l was prepared having perused their website prior to my visit. During my checkout I discussed with the associate whether they carried cannabis coffee beans and was pleasantly surprised and very thankful when he gifted me a product sample they are thinking of stocking. All in all I came away very satisfied with my experience at Hush and definitely plan to return in the future. I "highly" recommend this establishment for those of you (either expert or novice like me) who are interested in exploring the brave new world of legal cannabis retail.

My mission was simple, I want to quit smoking cigarettes, been a smoker for 23 years.... I met DOUG... easy going, knowledge about the products and pretty much everything that goes along with it. To him I didn't have any "dumb questions". I hung out for an hour and a half learning and trying different flavors, strengths, draws.. etc. I found the perfect one for me and again DOUG made this all possibly with his over the top knowledge and customer service as well as his relatability.... hands down one of the best customer service experience I have ever had. Went in other day because I had good luck buying CBD vape cartridges elsewhere in the city and wanted to try someplace closer to home. Went in and asked what they had, got a pretty standard "we have this this and this" and storekeep really didn't have any opinions on which ones to buy. Didn't know prices either. Picked one and tried at home for a day. Awful stuff. Felt like I was huffing burnt plastic and lighter fluid. Oil was leaking out of the tank. Felt no discernable benefit and got a slight headache everytime I used it. I Have not had this experience with other cartridges and have never felt like it was shredding my lung tissue before. Took back to store because this product was of low or defective quality. Was told no refund and no exchanges because I'd already used it. Yeah, how else was I going to find out it was cooking oil? Place is just a mediocre run of the mill New York smoke shop -- maybe one step above the bodega -- and should probably stay away from selling products they haven't researched. Especially if it could damage the health of their clientele.
