First and for…read moremost, if there is more than 5 people in here, the place is packed. and everytime I've walked in here,the establishment seemed to be under construction. the air filtration system is horrible. I can compare it to smoking a cigar in my car. I live less than quarter mile from here, and I'd rather drive 5 miles away to get a cigar then from here. this spot is my emergency stash. the owner does not believe in buybacks or throwing you an extra bone for being a patron. I have to go through a few cigars too find a good cigar. the issues can range from the cigar not being wrapped to tight or too many vains. I can never get an evening burn when I pull on the cigar. Nothing here is premium, all are straight Dominican. I laugh every time I go to get a cigar from here bcz some of the cigars are cases in glass jars with a fasting lid for air quality within the humidor room. Deepening on where you or your ability to travel, just look a my profile and compare some of the other stops I've reviewed. Let this place be you last resort.

The air quality remains very breathable, rivaled only by Club Macanudo in NYC, and leaves your clothing relatively free of aftersmoke. It's a place to take your date, knowing she will not complain of smoke in her clothing and hair. It was a regular Saturday night for the preamble of summer. The domino tiles were being smacked down on the tables inside and one should not venture over there unless you got real game. The expansive back patio was open and many folks opted for the well lit cool pre summer night air. The salsa, merengue, and bachata were pumping; flat screens showed a game the Yankees saved by a run; and the place was lit. This was a regular night, relaxed and easy, service with a smile, just what the doctor ordered for busy New Yorkers on their grind. That's the nature of Moises. There are so many great nights up there. They celebrate birthdays. Sometimes they mark the beginning or end of summer with catered and grilled food, which happens for summer birthdays. Sometimes someone is promoting their cigars, hats and spirits. About once a month or so, they will have someone perform there. If it's a particularly important fight night or playoff game or any other major sports championship, it's going to be something happening. Next thing you know, the sun is rising. Given I am not as young as I used to be and given my work schedule and responsibilities, I do not permit myself to stray from a disciplined and process oriented approach to everything..., except Moises. It's a place where I make it an evening that often becomes morning. Moises makes the magic happen. Five stars!
