Awful end of tenancy cleaning. We booked their services for an end of tenancy cleaning for a small two-bedroom flat. We payed a very large amount of money, expecting the work to be of the highest quality and hoping to get our deposits back. When the checkout report was generated, we found that areas had not been cleaned and stains remained in areas that we had specifically booked their services for. When we got in contact with their customer services, they refused to come back to the flat to complete their works despite our 72hour guarantee (in place specifically for this purpose). After a long exchange of emails, in which they were completely ignoring the photographic evidence we were sending them, we finally managed to convince them to arrange for a new cleaning session. They offered to do this more than two weeks after our checkout. By this point, new tenants were moving in and it was too late for us to rebook their services so we had to pay for another cleaning company to properly clean the missing areas. After explaining the situation and expressing our discontent to Royal Cleaning they offered us a refund for the ridiculous sum of 25 pounds. Of course, we also lost part of our deposits because of this issue and, naturally, the amount taken from our deposits was far from the sum offered as a refund by Royal Cleaning. Royal Cleaning assured us a top-quality end of tenancy cleaning when we booked their services. Not only have they not been able to clean the property to the standard they were supposed to, but also they did not respect their contractual agreement in which during the 72 hours guarantee, if the cleaning services were not up to standard, they would come back and rectify it. In addition, their customer services have been extremely unhelpful and unprofessional, with emails going back and forth trying to make us lose our time and ignoring evidence provided in previous discussions. They made it impossible to get in touch with them and speak on the phone as we were directly put in contact with an agent incapable of dealing with emails directly. Paid for our sofas to be cleaned. The guy that turned up wearing his hoody with real attitude. He tried to not do behind the back of the sofa but I insisted. He did not do a good job, there were still stains and the underneath still had dust. He insisted he had finished I said it still looks grubby. Then my husband mediated and said I could pay him. I gave him £49 part of it in coins. He then called me crazy. Luckily my husband didn't hear him. But then he pulled his heavy equipment/hoover over our new step and broke it. He should have picked it up but he damaged our house. Don't use them, they are charlatans. Go somewhere else. read more

I have never gone on any site before to leave a bad review but I feel it is my duty to let people know about this company. Three men were sent for the end of tenancy clean that I had booked in. The assurance from the company beforehand was that they would stay until the job was done. However, about 3 hours later, they told me that they were finished and could I check before they left. It looked as if they hadn't even been there. They hadn't hoovered anywhere except for the top floor, no furniture had been moved to clean behind or underneath, the bathroom tiles were grimy and there was dirt all over the skirting boards. There was even some furniture that I had pulled out so that they could clean the floors properly behind it and they had actually put the furniture back on top of the dust without cleaning. None of the surfaces had been cleaned, none of the inside of the windows, none of the fittings or lampshades. The flat was almost empty except for the living room so it should have been a straightforward job however these people were completely incompetent. When I said that the job wasn't finished and please could they get the hoover out, to hoover under the sofa, this was before I even knew the extent of the lack of cleaning. Then the main person started screaming and yelling at me (despite knowing my baby was asleep in the flat) saying that the job was done and he had another place to be and that what I was asking was not end of tenancy cleaning. I'm not sure what standards they are holding that to be but this was not even what you could call light cleaning let alone deep end of tenancy cleaning that was costing me £290!! I was also very scared and upset by the man screaming at me, he was very large and very aggressive and I was on my own there with my young baby. To be honest, the fridge and cooker were clean as well as the top bedroom that I had already had to show one of the juniors how to clean under the bed etc. As far as I could tell, this was all that had been done in 3 hours. The team were already outside with all of their things packed before asking me to check everything so I called the company saying that they couldnt let them leave as the job was no where near finished and I had a very tight schedule of builders etc coming. They assured me that they would get another cleaner to me that day. Then the trouble with them started, they didnt return phone calls, kept passing me around to different people. Nobody was taking responsibility or trying to help. Eventually I had to threaten a court case and they offered to refund me 40% of the fee I had paid which I accepted in the end to avoid a lengthy and energy sapping process of taking them to court. This helped towards the full fee that I had to pay another company the next day who were in shock at the state of the flat having apparently been cleaned the day before. They spent 5 hours with a team of them to get it clean and I also helped. I would not wish this stressful and time consuming experience on anyone so I am telling the truth here.
