With basically no hope left and reading excellent beyond excellent reviews regarding this cleaner, I figured: why not?!? What's the worst that can happen?! Upon stepping into this place, I was greeted by the lovely Mimi. She, too, was scared of the abomination that were my three, large winter coats. Kindly note that this place is small but organized, it's bright and pretty clean. Anywho, I digress. Lovely Mimi said she would definitely try her hardest to clean them but she couldn't make any promises. I appreciated her candor and I told her to work her magic. She was so sweet acknowledging my comment and I left there with nothing but a wish. Fast forward to now and Mimi texted me letting me know my costs were ready for pick up. I picked them up and legit was shocked. She was able to turn my gross jackets into something of wonder and happiness. She cleaned the heck outta of those jackets; no mold, no smell, no dust, nothing gross...Mimi and her magic hands pulled out a magic wand over my jackets and made them brand new again. I would take my pants, skirts, tube tops, whatever you want, to Mimi, who does all the hemming at her workstation by the front window. Maybe needless to say, but they also do shoe repair, dry cleaning, pressing and the like here!! Left happy and cost only $3.49 and less than 4 minutes of my time to get my son's suit coat cleanly pressed, brand new and he is now ready for this weekend's high school dance. One month ago I had a tie with a few stains to be dry cleaned. Two of the several stains didn't come out fully, so I politely asked if it could be re-done and have them again try to remove those final two spots, so they gladly fixed the issue for a repeat treatment at no additional cost. Good customer service and the run a nice business here. Bring your prom dresses and suits / dress shirts / ties here for excellent care that doesn't break the bank.

I honestly think they threw it in a washing machine instead of sending it out to rug experts as I assumed they were doing when they said we send the rugs "out". When I picked up my rug I was shocked and discussed it with the owner who questioned MY HONESTY when I told him I dropped off a perfect rug. He said he doubted it didn't have the hole in it when I dropped it off. I was and am furious at this owner and establishment for ruining my $400 rug and then denying it, and insinuating I was lying! If you are foolish enough to use this dry cleaner I suggest you take photos with dates of everything you leave with them because if they ruin something, they will claim it was already that way and deny responsibility. I have lived in Libertyville 30 years and used other dry cleaners that are responsible and scrupulous so please use one of them and not this absolute dishonest excuse for a business.
