Carwash itself is good. Never had an issue with that. HOWEVER I have tried for 2 months to cancel my autopay with them with no luck. My bank says that the only way they can stop payment is to change my debit card number. Called the number I found online and it was wrong. Finally got thru to Shelby facility and told it was canceled for the Jan payment. It went thru anyway. Now I cannot get ANYONE to call me back. I will not make that mistake again. read more

Their prices range from $7 for basic wash to $20 for a deluxe with a few choices in between. I got the $10 which included tire clean and a wax coat. The pay machine is self serve, they take cash and credit. As you pull into lane, there are two attendants that spray cleaner on wheels. There is plenty of soap used as it makes its way through, in fact, after rinse, there was still soap on side windows because water didn't get under my window shields. The dryer at end is pretty powerful and most of car was dry as we pulled into spot to use free vacuum. They also give you excellent dust free towels to finish off wiping down the car. My front wheels still had dirt on the rims but easily wiped off with supplied towels. I don't think I've had a better wash at one of these type of car washes. On 8.13.19 the gate at this car wash fell off and damaged my car totaling $1,131 in damages. On that date the manager, Rachel admitted it was the car washes fault in front on of a Shelby police officer and reported that the car wash would pay for all damages. She also completed an incident report for which she neglected to provide me a copy of. After the incident happened another customer present warned me that this car wash damaged his car and refused to pay for it. I am a regular customer of this car wash and I was patronized by David with this organization who left a voicemail I still have saved and I quote "I'm calling about the SMALL claim on the SMALL scratch you have on your car. My suv is new and anyone who is your client base probably cares about their car and wouldn't want it scratched. Bottom line they begrudgingly paid for the damage but would not pay for a rental car which left me paying $100 for a rental car because of damage caused to my car on their property. Dave also told me the gate falls off often and could strike anyone's car as it is made to fall of and if hit by a previous customer and made loose it can fall on the next unsuspecting customer's car and damage it. If you visit this car wash BEWARE! YOUR CAR MAY BE AT RISK FOR DAMAGE AND YOU WILL BE BELITTLED BY DAVE! To add insult to injury the body shop told me that good ole Dave instructed them not to give me the check for the repairs that it would be going to them trying to insult my character- ever hear of slander Dave. Anyway, this place is an awful place to deal with when your car is damaged on their property. They add insult to injury by being rude to you, belittling you, and patronizing. Have come here in the past and hasn't been too bad but a recent visit was horrible and will not return. To begin with, the pay machine did not give me my change back. When I àsked one of the attendants for it, he shorted me but not enough to make an issue of. When my car got through, the front around the grill and headlights was still filthy as they apparently didn't prewash it like they are supposed to. The cart was empty of clean rags and spray bottles to finish cleaning. When I walked over to the attendants to ask for additional supplies, he told me they didn't have any, that everyone stole them. What he should have told me was they were too lazy to get cloths from the dryer and make up more cleaning solution. I left with a slightly cleaner but still dirty car and $10 wasted. read more

Had our vehicle washed here and the result was a bumper being ripped off and damage to our front quarter panel. Zero concern by the Mgr, Rachael on duty. Did not even apologize or offer a refund, lol. She was able to however share with us that it is impossible for the car wash to do damage to a vehicle, and that we must have tried to drive or turn the steering wheel while in the wash. Wow. Would not let us view any of the video recordings that were captured and have no contact information for anyone to contact for assistance. This is hands down the best car wash I've ever been to. I'm not exaggerating when I say that my truck came out of the car wash looking better than the day I bought it brand new! The staff was very friendly and helpful and I was very impressed with the entire experience. The vacuums are great, and they even have a mat cleaning machine, just to add one more small detail. Not happy with the long lines at this wash , visited the establishment last week just took to long to get in, plus bugs were still on front bumper and side mirrors. Just went to Royal Washes at 9:20 5 E. Dixon Blvd in Shelby. This is a new business. We were car number 310 on 2-5-17 paid for the ruby wash $10. The reason for the visit was we came out to the car and a flock of birds had recently pooped all over our car. It wasn't there when we went to church this morning. It's now 4 o'clock and we go to get the car washed and the bird poop did not come off the car. We asked the attendant to see what they could do about it and we were told we would have to pay five dollars more to get it re-washed. We are very dissatisfied with their service.
