For a cheap drink it can't be beaten and is open to non members who want to pop in for pool or cream teas etc. Although its a watersports club it doesn't have the usual yachting atmosphere and clientele and is pretty relaxing. The place is very clean and in the summer its worth going out onto the balcony that overlooks the waters edge. If you become a member or book through a member you can rent out the whole place for the evening and they offer a great choice in buffet food options that suit every pocket, we've spent many birthday parties there and enjoyed every one.

That said, there is nothing wrong with it - the full range of alcoholic drinks is on offer, and several national and international lagers. Just not too many real ales - and only "conventional" ones at that. So I settled for Tribute, which is widely available. It was all right, fresh. However, the outside seating area is rather attractive on a warm summer night, especially if you're among a group of people. Which I was not, so I did not linger for a long while. Certainly recommended for young people.

Good location as right in the centre of truro making this a good spot if you want to make the most of your night and check out all the local bars and (two!!!) clubs. Good selection of drinks at the bar although Only one beer on tap - San Miguel which lets it down slightly. Good cocktail menu with locally sourced alcohol too. Plenty of seating space outside with heat lamps which was much appreciated on a chilly November eve !
