Although I made an appointment, I had to wait 5-10 minutes which I didn't mind. ::::: Heads up: if you check in on Yelp you'll get complimentary coffee, tea, or wine. :::: I had to take away a star because I honestly didn't see any of the instruments come out of a sterilized bag which I'm VERY PARTICULAR about; hygiene is very important to me. What I didn't know is that they charge you $5 to take off existing gel; this kinda sucked because I inquired on the price before I made the appointment and I was told $40 for a gel mani and a regular pedi. I had just the right amount plus $5 for what I thought was going to be tip. All in all, I like the way my nails turned out and the customer service was good. If I'm in the area I may come back.

She went on vacation during the summer so I needed to use someone else. I liked how the new person did my hair. My hair needed color and the stylist recommended a hair gloss. After rinsing me out, my hair had turned violet red. My normal color is reddish brown. I asked her to fix it and so she added a special shampoo. Unfortunately this did not change the color. She said she can't do anything more for me. I called the owner of the salon to address this issue. She was rude and totally unapologetic. She wouldn't take any responsibility. I never write reviews but I felt it was necessary to let people know how I was mistreated.

The space is just an open room with sheer curtains, so I could see the beauty bed, as well as the client. Once the appointment finished, Mindy asked me to lay on the bed. Immediately, I felt uncomfortable. The linen was not changed, nor the towel the previous client was laying on for who knows how long. Mindy also did not wash her hands. I asked Mindy if she wouldn't mind first washing her hands before treating me. In response, she put some purell on - which is not the same as washing her hands. I then asked her again if she wouldn't mind just washing her hands. She said someone else was in the bathroom, and that she would do so after. I also asked her (not in any rude way), if she would please at least change the towel the previous client's head was on. In response, she flipped the towel over. I asked her again to change it. (I mean c'mon!!!) Her response was, "But I flipped it over." That's just so grimy. So I said, "I am just going to cancel. I am uncomfortable." I have never in my life been made to feel so uncomfortable in an environment that should feel clean, especially when someone is supposed to touch your face for an hour. I found her behavior, responses, as well as her attire (tight fitting very short overalls), to be extremely unprofessional.

If you're running a business you should look at the calendar to see if it falls on a "holiday". Good Friday is not a holiday. If she chose to take off this day, then make sure you note it in your calendar and contact any clients to cancel. This is so unprofessional and actually disgusting. After she wouldn't let me speak one word and just talked over me AND hung up on me. She called me back just to do the same thing again. This is the text that she sent me "Everything happens. We are humans. I said I am sorry about that". In fact she did not apologize, she was rude and talked over me the whole time knowing she was wrong. She was condescending and rude.
